I felt the sun beating down on me. The heat coming off the ground seeped through my clothes making me sweat. Through my closed eyes I saw nothing but brightness. Suddenly shuffling noises got closer and louder. I felt a hand grab my shoulder. It's got to be Malayna. I saw Malayna reach out her hand to me. Then she turned into sand and blew away with the wind. I tried to say her name but no sound came out. No matter what I tried to say, all that came out were gasps of air.

I shoved my arm out and screamed, "Don't!" My hand hit something. It felt soft and fine like silk. I opened my eyes and a strange man was knelt over me. He had bronze skin and a brown top with a red scarf wrapped around his neck. The scarf fell behind him and rested on his back. He had dark green eyes. His hair was brown with a reddish tint from the sun. He wore a golden headband across his forehead. On his right arm was a golden band with a scarab and on his left was a golden cuff. He had on white skirt on with a golden belt. The belt was adorned with rubies. There was a small space between his top and his belt, allowing me to see some of his stomach. Who in the world is this man? I wondered.

Suddenly he pulled my flannel off leaving me in just a tank top and ripped shorts. I gasped and tried to push him off, but he didn't budge. "What are you doing! Help!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"No weapons" The strange man said over his shoulder. I looked behind him and saw a man standing nest to two black stallions. He was taller and wore a white tunic that went to his ankles. The bottom was slightly yellow from the sand. He wore a similar belt, but his had sapphires instead of rubies. He had on a purple head wrap so all I could see were his eyes. His eyes were as blue as the gems on his belt. They were the bluest eyes I'd ever seen.

"Pax you are far too alert." Said the man with the blue eyes. He turned his attention to me and continued talking. "He was just fulfilling his responsibilities as an inspector so please don't take offense. I apologize if we have scared you." His voice was kind, but the language was strange. It doesn't sound like English, yet I can understand it. This sounds like Egyptian. But why would anyone be speaking ancient Egyptian? I thought trying to figure it out.

"Who..are you?" I asked in Egyptian. The man with blue eyes bent onto one knee and introduced himself. I guess it is Egyptian then.

"I am named Azark, and this man is Pax. Miss, why are you all alone in the desert? If you keep on laying here you will die from dehydration."

Desert? Why did he say desert? Wasn't I just in London? I looked around and all I saw was sand and sand dunes. There weren't even any buildings or water! I looked up and saw a hawk fly past the blazing sun in the bright blue sky. I tried to lick my lips just to realize my mouth was dry. I was so thirsty. I needed water. And the heat was so bad. This must be a nightmare. How could a dream be this intense? Maybe I had heat stroke. But it all felt so real, the dryness of my mouth, the heat of the sun, the hot sand. And even Azark and Pax looked real. I rubbed my eyes and looked around again to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Everything looked the same. I turned to Azark and he was looking at me expectantly.
