"Shuichi-!"

"Is he okay?"

"Shuichi say something dammit..."

I heard the voices once again.

I knew them, but I couldn't quite identify who they belonged to.

My head hurt too much to focus.

They pleaded and called out my name numerous times.

I tried to open and my eyes and speak, but no words left my lips.

I blindly reached out an arm and touched someone's face.

It felt like a woman's face...no, it felt like a younger girl's face.

She placed a hand on mine.

"Shu...ichi...?"

Her voice was a higher pitch, and it annoyed me a little bit.

Her hands were warm, and felt a tad bit sticky.

It suddenly hit me like a truck.

"Him..."

I started saying the magician's name, it was a little hard.

"Himiko..."

"Shuichi!"

She hugged me, I let out a groan.

"Hey Himiko, be careful."

Another woman said, her words were like a melody to my ears. I guess I kind of missed hearing it...

My memories came at me, hitting me violently like a flood.

I opened my eyes and gasped as the realization hit me.

I sat up, the blood quickly rushed to my head, making me light headed.

"Himiko...Maki..."

The two girls looked at me, and smiled.

I couldn't tell if it was out of happiness or sympathy, either way it was nice to see their smiling faces.

"Shuichi..."

Himiko's smile drop, the sadness in her face swirling to the surface.

She jumped into my arms and cuddled to my chest, as if she were afraid that I'd disintegrate if she let go.

"Shuichi! It's happening again! I don't want to do it..."

I pulled her hat off her head, and passed it to Maki.

I rubbed her back, carefully, just to let her know I was there supporting her.

"Hey...Himiko, it's going to be okay."

"Shuichi I don't want to do it again!"

She sobbed, I felt bad for the poor girl.

"Himiko, we have to. In order to go home and be happy, we have to. One more time."
