It felt absolutely amazing to finally be home. I could sleep in my own bed, and it's been a while. Although I'll miss Ellen, I'll still be able to talk to her whenever I feel the need! I'm so happy with my life right now and there's nothing I would change. Apparently when I was gone with Chris, Noah got it on with some girl down the street named Kirsten. Kirsten just happens to be Chris' cousin so we all can kinda hang out together. Not too much though. I had to go to the doctor today just for a check up. My mom was taking Chris, Noah, Kirsten, and I to lunch after the appointment. As soon as I hopped outside to get in the car, I remembered one thing I didn't miss. Slushy, cold, freezing, snow! Ugh, Michigan, get warm! Everyone was all situated in the car, and we left. The doctor appointment was really quick and we got out fine.
"Wow, the roads are really slippery today. Black ice is everywhere," mom said, and we all kinda just nodded our heads.
Mom looked back at us like she was waiting for an answer.
"Holy sh*t, stop!!!!" Chris screamed scaring me.
It was too late. Another car spun out of control and hit us. We were spinning in circles and the car flipped on mom and Kirsten's side.
"Mommy! Mom! Mom!" I screamed with tears filling my eyes and painful stare.
"Kirsten, are you okay," Noah shouted panicking. He began crying.
"She's dead," he cried leaning into her shoulder. "You were all I had. All I needed."
Mom was doing okay just passed out. Chris unbuckled his seatbelt and came up to me. He hugged me tight and for the first time, I saw him cry. Not just tear up but cry. I grabbed him and cried hard, I thought today was going to great. I thought we were going to have everything perfect. I kissed mom's head and whispered I love you into her ear. And that was all I remembered.
*******
I woke up to a bright light shining in my eye. I squeezed it shut. "Ow!"
"Where am I? Where are Chris, Noah, Mom, and Kirsten?" I pleaded.
"Don't worry, they're in the other ambulance. I'm Lana and I'm here to take you to the hospital."
"Is everyone okay. I just need to know! Please!" I screamed in Lana's face sitting up.
"Calm down, Noah and Chris are fine," she said with a sympathetic look on her face.
I looked at her with a confused glare.
"And my mom and Kirsten!?"
"I'm afraid I can't make the call, Your mom had no pulse nor did Kirsten."
I began sobbing into my knees. Lana grabbed my shoulders trying to calm me.
"GET OFF OF ME!" I growled in her face. Causing her to back up.
I got off of the bed I was laying on and felt extreme pain in my leg. She grabbed onto me and put me back on the bed.
"You need to stay on the bed," she pleaded.
This lady was on my last nerve! We thankfully came to a halt and the doors opened and I was being carried into a hospital. I saw Chris, and a smile came to my face until I saw he was lying down with some blood on his head. I thought something was wrong. Really wrong.
After getting into a room a bunch of doctors came in looking at my leg and Chris. There was a curtain delegating us, so I couldn't see what was going on. I could hear a bunch of mumbling and then a sharp pain came again in my leg.
"Son of a ..."
"I'm sorry did that hurt? It looks like you have a broken leg. But the good news is, we can put a cast on it, and you'll be good to go home with your family," the nice doctor said to me.
"Oh thank god!"
"Doctor, can I speak with you?" A women asked.
He stepped out into the hallway.
****Doctor's point of view****
"I need you to tell her about Kirsten and her mother."
"Why do I have to do it? I am here for the young girl, and she needs to know that. I'm sorry but I'm not delivering the news to her. Find someone else." I demanded. And I waked back into Chloe's room.
****Chloe's pov****
After talking to my dad about how I was doing the doctor finally came back in.
"I'm going on a break, so Nurse Adele will be caring for you." The doctor said smiling.
Nurse Adele walked in and sat at the edge of my bed.
"I have some bad news. Your Mother and Kirsten, well, they didn't make it. I'm very sorry."
I had nothing to say. I had no idea how to react. I screamed and cried into my dad's shirt. And he cried with me. I couldn't believe they were gone. Noah was going to be crushed.
