I woke up coughing like crazy. I yelled for my parents and they came up to my room.

" What's wrong honey?" my mom asks with a concerned look on her face.

My coughing went away and a headache popped in. I really wanted it to go away.

"Mommy, my head really hurts," I said sounding more childish than planned.

A tear rolled down my cheek and landed on my bed. My mom looked at me, and then felt my forehead. she walked into my bathroom and grabbed the thermometer. She scanned my head and read 101.9.

" Take an ibuprofen and a glass of water, before going back to sleep," she said with a reassuring smile.

I nodded my head and grabbed the medicine and my cup of water.

I slowly drifted off to sleep. I really hope my headache goes away by the time I wake up.

I woke up and slid the covers off my feet. I got up to go over to the bathroom but fell. I couldn't get up. I yelled for my brother Noah since he was the only other person home. It took him a while to get up to my room, but when he did he had the most terrified look on his face.

"Chloe, what happened to you're nose?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I said curiously.

He picked me up and brought me to the bathroom. My nose was bleeding and bruised. I had no idea what happened. He called my mom with fear in his eyes. I tried to stand up again and this time I actually could hold up my own weight. I ran to the toilet and through up. My brother drove me to the hospital. I had just woken up and so much has happened. I needed to tell Chris where I was.

I asked Noah to hand me my phone. As soon as he did I texted Chris my hospital room and told him to come as soon as possible. I got a reply right away. He said he would leave work as soon as possible. I smiled at the thought that he was coming to see me. That thought was quickly interrupted by a doctor coming into my room.

"Miss. Deputo?" the doctor said.

"Yes," my brother and I said in unison.

"We're going to have to run a few tests on you to see what's going on. In the meantime you can settle down and have a meal if you would like," he said with a half smile.

I rolled my eyes and nodded my head. A few minutes later they brought up a yogurt for me to eat. There was a nock on the door and Chris came in.

"Chloe, what happened?" he asked

"Honestly I have no idea. I'm really scared because they have to run a few tests on me," I said as he nodded.

He reached in and gave me a big hug.

"It'll be alright Chlo. It'll be just fine," Noah interrupted.

"Chloe," I heard the doctor call my name, gesturing to sit in the wheelchair.

I nodded and sat down. I looked at Noah and my brother. Tears were streaming down their faces and mine.
