" Chloe this is cute!" My mom shouted to me.

" Ummm... I think I'll keep looking," I said with a half smile.

We were in the store looking at a variety of dresses. My mom went to try on a few dresses herself, just a few casual ones. I was in my wheelchair struggling on how you turn the dang thing, when this girl came over to me. "Hi, I'm Paisley. Do you want some help?" She asked.

"Yeah sure. My name is Chloe."

She helped push me around to look at the dresses. When I finally saw the one I really like I almost screamed. It was pink on the top and went down into a high low. I went to the dressing room with paisley and she took a picture of me with my dress on. Then my phone buzzed. I figured it was my mom. But then I looked at Paisley and I thought something terrible had happened. I was right.

" How do you know Chris?" She asked, her voice shakey.

" He's my boyfriend," I said with a confused look.

"No. He's my boyfriend. We've been dating for about three months," she said, now angry.

That's when I got my cancer, and when we took a break. Tears were pouring out of my eyes. How could he do this to me? I looked at Paisly to see that she was gone. The door didn't make a sound when she left. Chris really screwed up, big time. If he really loved me, there wouldn't be a second person. I hate Chris, and this isn't something that be can just apologize about and we can go on with our lives together.

I walked out of the dressing room to be greeted by my mom. She looked at me and just stared. Obviously she wanted an explanation. I told her everything, and she hugged me tightly. She made it feel like I was okay, but I wasn't. My makeup was messed up and running down my face.

"Chloe! You're okay, it was just a dream," Chris said comforting me.

I looked up at him and gave him a tight squeeze.

" I thought I lost you again, you were dating a girl named Paisly at the store and..." he cut me off

" I would never do that to you Chloe." he pleaded.

I sobbed into his chest. The dance wasn't real, sadly. But at least Chris was all mine and that wouldn't change.

"So I was thinking," Chris started. " Maybe tonight I could take you out for dinner."

" That would be amazing! Finally no more hospital food for one night!"

"I'll have to talk to the doctor and you're parents, but I'm sure they'll say yes."

I nodded and Chris walked out of the door to find my parents. I hopped into the shower and washed my body, I didn't really have any hair to wash by now. After I finished in the shower I put on some sweats and started on my makeup. After I was done with my eyeshadow, there was nocking on the door. I answered it to see my parents, the doctor, and Chris all smiling at me.

"Chloe Deputo, will you go to on the border with me tonight?" Chris asked, while down on one knee.

I laughed and replied with a yes. Tonight was going to be great, now I just need to find something to wear. I asked my mom to go to my house and look through all of the dresses I had owned, and bring them here to see what I liked. Once my mom came back with the dresses I realized that I needed to get a new dress. I was a lottle nervous... A little bit a lot, it's a lottle. I didn't want my dream to come true. When we walked into the store I immediately saw the dress I wanted. It was coral with little rhinestones on the top. I tried it on and it fit! I was so happy. After we checked out we walked over to our car to be stopped by someone.

" Hi! You're Chloe, right?" She said really perky.

"Yes..." I said with curiosity.

"I'm a huge fan, could I get a picture with you?"

I nodded and smiled for a picture. I have a fan? Since when did I become famous? My mom looked at me and I just shrugged my shoulders. This was a pretty strange day so far.

Once we finally got back to the hospital I plopped on the bed and took off my shoes. I was excited and confused. Why do I have a fan? How does she know me? And yay! Going on a date tonight! I guess you could say my life is getting back together again.
