They wheeled me into a room with a massive scanner. The doctor told me to lie down and not move at all. How could I move I was scared. I felt like I was going to die. I didn't even know if anything is actually wrong with me. I really hope I can go home after this. I lied down, closed my eyes and tries to sleep. I literally couldn't sleep. I was super tired though. A few more tests were ran on me and then I was brought back to my room to rest.
About thirty minutes later, the doctor walked in with my parents by his sides. He looked concerned.
"I have some bad news," the doctor said hesitantly.
I nodded for him to continue. I must have looked like I was crying because my mom came over and hugged me.
"We found cancer in you. We haven't yet diagnosed which type it is, but we will figure out as soon as possible and start you with treatment," he said it with a pained look in his eyes. "Im sorry."
I said nothing. I have freaking cancer? why me? This just doesn't make sense. I'm healthy, well at least I thought I was. I felt a tear roll down my cheek and land on my arm. Everyone was crying in the room. I looked over at Chris and he was sitting outside on the deck. I didn't feel like going over and hugging him. There was nothing I could do. The doctor walked out with my dad. And everything fell silent and it got dark.
