It was not until that moment that the weirdest thing occurred. Besides me going back in time.

Remember when I told you readers that I was unable to describe the music in the music box because it was that bad? Not anymore. As soon as I told Aztec to get out of my room, the music box began playing. When a music box is open, it is supposed to play a relaxing melody. A melody so sweet that people fall in a deep sleep. Music boxes are good for your soul and relieve stress.

Maybe that is why my grandma and grandpa left me the music box. They might have known how stressful it is to deal with six brothers. Six brothers who never treat you like an individual.

I was prepared for the horrible melody this time. But it never came. Instead of the music that would make anyone's ears bleed, this music was...pleasant. I was taken aback by it. It sounded like what it ought to be. Music!

I swear that this beautiful music could hypnotize you if you listened to it long enough. I wanted to listen to its sweet melody, but knew that this was not the time to do it. I had to keep it away from my brother!

I shook my head to snap out of the trance and looked up at Aztec. He was still in front of me and clutching my purse, however, he was not looking back at me. It gave me the creeps.

I brushed it off as him playing another sick prank on me and snatched back my purse. I was surprised just how easy it was to get my purse. Aztec and my other brothers do not give up so easily. When they want to "play" with me, they will until they are bored of me. I guessed that Aztec was tired of me already.

I jabbed a finger in his chest. "I know that you heard me," I said sternly. "I want you to leave my bedroom at once. If you do not by the time that I count to five, I will tell Mom."

I waited for him to say or do something. He was still fixated on the open window. His arms were dangling at his sides, and he started moving back and forth. It was strange and sent a chill down my spine. Why the crub was my brother doing what he was doing? Why was his body moving back and forth?

I still thought that he was pulling a prank on me and snapped my fingers in his face. "Aztec," I said. I was tapping my foot because I was getting impatient with him. "Come on, Aztec. I do not have all day. I need to fetch the watch that you threw on the ground. By the way, I will be telling Mom that." I pointed a finger at the doorway. "Now get out of my room!"

Aztec stayed silent for a few more seconds before he asked, "Would you like me to get out of your room?"

I raised my voice. "That is what I have been trying to get you to do!"

He examined me from top to bottom. "As you wish." Without another word, he spun around and walked out of my room. He turned his body to the right and vanished down the hall.

I could not believe what just happened. What he just did. I had to pinch myself to be sure that I was not in a dream.

I pinched my arm and said, "Ouch!" I began rubbing the spot where I had pinched myself. "So I guess that I am not dreaming. I am unsure whether it is a good thing or not."

I pulled out the music box from behind me and shut it. The wonderful melody stopped as soon as I closed the lid. I set it back in my purse and zipped my purse back up. I dashed out of my room and shut the door. I then dashed down the stairs and out of the house.

I had to find the wristwatch. I was hoping that it was not broken.

I hurried to the back of the house where my window is and searched for my wristwatch. I got down on my hands and knees and searched the entire backyard. I searched the bushes. The green grass. The dirt path. I needed to be careful with the dirt path because dirt and I do not get along. I have allergies.

I decided to check our tree that was in the middle of the backyard and the playground set that my mother and my aunt built for my younger brothers. But alas, there was no sign of the watch. Not even a clue as to where it could have gone.

I could feel the waterworks coming on and sat under the tree. I sniffed and unzipped my purse. I took out the music box and set it in my lap. I stroked the lid.

"A-at least that I still have you," I stated to the music box as if it could understand me. "I...I should h-have kicked my brother in the butt. I-I should have kicked him out of my room when I had the chance. He is an idiot. An idiot who ought to be thrown off the cliff!" I pressed my back against the tree and lifted the lid. "I wish that I still had the watch."

I closed my eyes and listened to the box play. Play its irresistible melody.

"I want my watch," I said before falling asleep.

I do not know how long I was asleep for, but I do not think that I was for a long time. I am guessing fifteen minutes or less. I woke up and stretched my arms.

"Feels great to take a short nap," I said.

As I lowered my arms, I noticed something.

The watch.
