13.

Before the race
Kate remembers that she has to get her parents British or Scottish whiskey... that's gonna be a problem. She isn't allowed to buy alcohol drinks. She walks through the paddock. She can ask for a favour. Kate passes some interviewers and team members. Mike is talking to some McLaren guy.

Both laughing loudly. Kate sees Lando and walks over to him. 'Hi!' She greets him. 'Hi! How are you!' Lando asks. 'I'm fine! Thanks for asking, what about you?' Lando looks funny at her. 'Excited for the race.'  Lando tells her. 'Can I ask you something?'

'Sure.' Lando said. 'Alright, I forgot that my parents want British or Scottish drinks. The best of the best and I don't have a clue and I'm to young to buy it. Do you know someone or brand?' Kate asked him and Lando started laughing loudly. 'Aii! You should ask Hamilton. I don't like whiskey but Hamilton knows some very good whiskey. I heard that from Zac Brown.'  Kate smiled. 'Thanks!'

'Charles really doesn't want to know anything about you.' Lando told. 'I know, he hates me.' Kate mumbled. 'I don't think it's hate.' Lando assured her. 'I mean, he did steal your phone and gave it back. That's generous of him.'

Kate laughed 'true but that's not all, he did find something important for me and gave it back to me personally.' Kate shows her pendant. Lando looked at it. 'It's has an emotional value to you. That's lucky that you got it back, it would hurt if you loose something like that.' Kate nodded at Lando. 'I'm very grateful for that.'

Kate sees Mike leaving. 'I have to go, good luck Lando!' She said to Lando who smiled. 'Yea, you to.' Kate leaves him and sprints after Mike.

Lap 10 - Silverstone GP

Max's red bull races right behind the Ferrari of Charles, Kate feels a lot of tension in the red bull garage. also feels the tension rising inside her.  She's watching the race on a screen and hears the cars passing by loudly. People cheering and screaming.

Max finally receives DRS on the Ferrari. Max is close enough to overtake the Ferrari but Charles follows the race line and defends the inside. Lap 11 Max keeps gaining on te Ferrari and gets side by side with the Ferrari but Charles managed to stay in front of Max. The Ferrari of Vettel gets DRS on Max and is attacking the red bull.

Max fends off the Ferrari stays in front. Max almost gave her a heart attack. Max keeps chasing the car in front of him for almost 3 laps. The pit crew are running out of the garage and Kate's knows what time it is. Max is going to box. Kate looks curious at the pit crew.

Also Ferrari's pit crew is getting ready. On the screen two cars entered the pit lane The Ferrari in front and right behind him The Red bull of Max. It's getting intense... now it's about winning time. The pit stop has to be faster then the other.

Kate caught a glimpse of the Ferrari turning to his pit crew and seconds later Max shows up. Red bull's pit crew removes the old medium tyres and replaces them with New medium tyres. The rough sound of tyres screeching from Ferrari made Kate terrified for Max and within a eye blink, Max took off and his tyres also screeching over the asphalt.

Kate sees the two diving right beside each other through the pit lane. The red bull pit crew cheering for Max after he left. It's Breath taking! Her heart is raising more and more.

The pit exit insight and Max's gets in front of the Ferrari. They swapped positions in the pit lane! Red bull cheered but all of them know the fight between the two isn't over yet...

They got out in front of the McLaren of Carlos Sainz. Charles restarts attacking Max and Charles gets wheel by wheel. The Ferrari has DRS and passes by Max. the pit lane madness was for nothing. Max struggled when he got out of the pit and that was the change for Charles to get back in front.

Lap 17 Max attacks Charles again. He can't get past the Ferrari who's keeps fending the red bull off. Max touches gravel but keeps the car in control. Max keeps chasing Charles waiting for the right moment to overtake. Laps fly by and a safety car gets deployed because one of the Alfa's gone off.

Max gets back into the pits and the crew gets ready to receive Max. The red bull turns right and the pit crew changes the tyres of Max's car. Max is going out with hard tyres. Charles stayed out but later he also pits for the seconds time. He passes by the red bull garage. Max's got in front the Ferrari.

Lap 23: Max struggles and hits the gravel. Charles trying to pass him but Max goes into the inside of Charles and stays in front. Lap 24 is getting serious, Max defends now against Charles. Max and Charles made contact and The Ferrari pushes the red bull of the track.

Max still stays in front. This time for good. Kate gasps for air, the tension because of the two made her feel ill. She took a sip from her water bottle her throat all dried up.

Lap 38: Vettel hits Max from behind and they both slide into the gravel. Kate puts her hand on her head. She heard whining, groaning and rage in the garage. The race got ruined for Max. Kate felt sad.
