2. Austria - Free tour

Kate made her way towards the entry of the Austria circuit Redbull ring. She saw a lot of orange coloured people with the Flagg of the Netherlands on their faces. Unbelievable... her fellow Dutch are so funny. 'Kate?' Someone called out and she turned around and saw a guy walking towards her.

A big man with McLaren team clothing gave her a hand. 'Zak Brown.' He said. 'Kate.' She smiled kind at him. 'FIA asked us show you around before we go to the McLaren hospitality, so you'll meet one of our drivers to show you around before practise one starts.' Zak Brown said and studied Kate.

'Do you have your paddock pass?' He added and Kate grabbed her pass out of her pockets. 'Yes.' Kate is exited and didn't know how to act. 'Are you ready? Follow me.' Zak brown said and Kate nodded. They went past some gates where they checked in. On a little screen her name appeared.

Kate looked around and she saw different people: guests, team crews, interviewers, some staff members off FIA and the circuit self. Zak Brown called someone and a young man appeared, he wore a blouse off McLaren. 'Hi! Good morning did you have a good flight?' The young man said exited.

'Hi, I had a good flight thanks for asking ummm...' Kate didn't know which driver she's talking to. 'Lando Norris.' He put out his hand. 'Kate.' She says and took his hand. 'So, shall we start at the garages?' Lando asked and Kate nodded. 'Sure!' Lando smirked and grabbed her by the arm.

Zak brown waved after the two and Lando lets go. We walked into a narrow hallway and got into the he McLaren garage. Kate looked around. A lot of hightech equipment and of course the race car. 'Awesome.' She said soft. 'I know right.' Lando said with a grin. He showed Kate the tyres and how soft they are.

'If you drop them they'll do the same as a football.' Lando said, 'we have soft tyre this is the fastest on track.' He pointed at the red marked tyres. 'The yellow one is medium useful for long tracks and have a good pace.' Kate looked at them. 'The last one the white ones, these are the slowest and the hardest. These are useful for long use on the track.' Lando told her.

He turend towards her and had a McLaren cap in his hand. 'Put this one on.' He gave it to Kate and she did what he told. 'So how do I look?' She asked and Lando Laughed. 'Like a formula one fan.' Kate laughed too. 'Ok let's go Walk pas the other garages, maybe we see someone you fangirl off.'

Kate grins, 'I don't fangirl anyone but my boyfriend does.' Lando gave her an unbelievable look. 'You will...... follow me.' Lando said evil. We stood in front of the McLaren garage. 'Left or right?' Lando asked and Katw looked. At the left their are more teams. 'Left.' She said.

Lando walked towards the Renault garage. Kate followed him and Lando talked to someone. The guy started laughing loudly. 'For real! AWESOME!!!!' Kate stood beside Lando and the guy studied her. 'Hi, I'm Daniel.' He said funny. 'Kate.'

'So Lando is showing you around?' Daniel asked. Kate nodded 'yes.' Lando gasped for air. 'She's following a internship this year with some teams. Ask Cyril, I think Kate would love to do a internship with Renault.' Kate grinned and looked at Lando. 'Of course but I don't think she gonna survive me.'  Daniel Joked. 'Do you have some tips for surviving McLaren?' Kate asked with a grin.

'Well, You can't ... hahaha just kidding. Just do your best and you see they are a fun team. I swear this team is the only one who isn't really that serious. Funniest team their is expect for Renault of course.' Daniel Told her. 'Thanks.' Kate says and Daniel gave Lando an evil look. 'One more thing be careful with Lando, he's a little kid, he's unpredictable.' Daniel advised and Lando shot him an annoyed gaze.

'You silly bastard.' Lando Snapped. 'Hahha, see you guys around.' Daniel said and he went back into his garage. Kate saw Daniel annoying his team member by stealing his cap. Daniel held it above him. Such a funny and energetic guy. 'Next.' Lando commented. Kate followed him to the next garage the Redbull Garage, Kate looked exited trough the garage. Lando stared at her while she still admired the garage. 'So you are a fangirl...' he joked.

'Hey Max!' Lando called out and after a few seconds Max Verstappen appeared with messy hair, he's all sweaty. 'Hi Lando what do you want.' Max growled at Lando. Max noticed Kate and looked at her. 'Is that your girlfriend?' He asked curios. Kate Laughed, 'no, I'm on a internship with McLaren.'  She told him.

'Ahha, I almost thought he finally has a Girlfriend, but no... such a shame Lando.' Max joked and gave him a pat. 'So what's your name mss?' Max asked and Kate told him her name. 'Nice meeting you, so you do a internship awesome.' Max said and someone walked towards them. A man stood beside Max and studied Kate. 'I heard internship, so you most be the girl who asked for a internship?'

'Yes sir, I'm that girl.' Kate answered. 'My name is Christian Horner, you're going to stay with f1 for the whole season right?' The man asked and Kate nodded. 'Good, we also have a spot for you maybe in Spa or Nurburgring.' Christian Horner said. 'Awesome, I would love to join Red bull.' Kate answered him. 'We'll keep in touch.'  Max stared at me and smiled. 'She's much better off with us then McLaren.' Max said when Christian Walked back to the pix box but looked over his shoulder laughing of what Max said.

'Why must you be such a jerk.' Lando replied to Max his Commentary. Kate laughed, these drivers that se meet are all making fun of McLaren but Also Lando. Max faced towards Kate. 'Don't be shy, this place is awesome. Be open and you'll have fun.' Max told her. 'Yea, well it's my first day anything can happen right?' Kate now said a bit uncertain. 'Believe me Kate, you don't have to worry and if something does happen you'll get through it. If you need a driver friend that's not Lando you can search for me.' Kate blushed, that was sweet. She stared at her feet and looked back up. 'Thanks Max.'

Max gave her a kind smile and waved goodbye. Lando gave him a studying look. 'You like him, Don't you?' Kate gulped and gave Lando rejecting look. 'Of course not he's nice.' Kate walked away nervously away from Lando Backwards. 'What are you doing?' He called.

Kate didn't know either, her cheeks are red. Her heart beats fast. What the hell am I doing? She asks herself. Her nerves took control, she didn't know how to act. Lando figured it out and she wants to run. 'Kate! Watch out!' She heard Lando yell at her. She felt something behind her and bumped into someone. Kate loses her balance and Trips on the ground. Lando ran towards her. 'You okay?'

Kate head felt empty and she held her eyes closed. she feels that she bumped into someone. she didn't know who. Kate slowly openend her eyes. A guy stood by her side and she heard Lando shouting. 'I'm fine...' Kate groaned. 'Well that sucks.' She hears unknown voice.

'Oh hi Charles.' Lando said and he kneeled beside Kate. 'Haha! You where blushing!' He said loudly. He grabbed her hand and pulls her up. She notices the Ferrari garage. Oh nooo... what has she done? The other guy who Lando Called Charles. Looked irritated at Kate, she gulps. 'I'm sorry.'

'You better be.' The guy snapped. Lando didn't say anything and looked at her. 'I really am!' Kate feels sadness. The guy is a driver of Ferrari and doesn't look happy. 'Who are you?' The guy said. 'Kate.' She looked for a sec at Lando who' silent. 'You should watch where you going.' He snapped.

Kate stared into his eyes, they are beautiful. 'Ummm, I know...' Kate said soft. He didn't seem to accept it. Kate didn't know how to act or what to do. The guy didn't seem to like her. 'I'm sorry.' Kate said and put her hand out. He looked at it, thinking. Kate waited patiently. She's hoping he would take it. Seconds fly by and she removed her hand. Kate stared at her feet. She carefully Grabs her other arm, it hurts because of the fall.

Kate is ashamed and Lando touched her shoulder, to comfort her. 'Charles Leclerc.' The Guy said with a soft smile. Kate didn't know what to make with the smile, was it to be nice, challenging or Mean? Charles looked at Lando and walked away from them. Kate sighs and looks at Lando. 'I screwed up.' Lando shook his head. 'Don't worry about Charles, he's nice but I think he isn't in a good mood.'

'No shit Sherlock.' Kate laughs and Poured Lando. 'Let's walk go and see George.' Lando suggested. 'Who is George?' Lando laughed.
