my Name is Kate I'm 20 years old. I was wondering if I could join you guys in a race. Doing something with one of the F1 teams. I'm asking for a internship. I have specialisaties: Leading, strategies, good with people, good concentration, supportive, hard working. My hobbies are: writing, reading, Hockey, shopping and watching tv. I always wanted to do a internship what is involved with sports, I tried the national team hockey of the Netherlands but they don't give internships logical, Later after I talked to a friend of mine who told me other interesting sports who may do internships like formula one. I hope you guys have a spot for me!

'Kate.' She turned around and saw her mentor behind her, ms Van Heijden looked happy and like she won won a lottery. 'I know you e-mailed FIA for a internship and they responded.' Her mentor said. Van Heijden gave her a letter, Kate took it and checked it out. She turned it around, on the envelop stood FIA. Kate grabbed a chair from her desk, She sat down and openend the letter carefully. Her mentor moved a chair towards her and also sat down.

Kate pulled a paper out. She unfolded the paper and read It out loud.
' Dearest Kate, we like people like you. We discussed you and we think you can do a internship with us, you should meet the specifications: your curiosity is important, you have to cooperate with the rules, don't be rude, you have to listen to the team no matter what. We asked a team who likes to start with you, this team is not the strictest, a lot of freedom. You'll start with McLaren, so we suspect the best off you. After McLaren you the one of the other teams, a whole season. "Just one race, you asked for.... well we got more for you ;)." We also know on your age you still have school, you have enough Time for it during your internship, so you have to talk with your teachers about it, ask Online school or mailed schoolwork. Back to your internship, you have to go to Silverstone next week, we sent you a paddock pass and the time of the meeting with the McLaren team Principal. Be there! Don't worry about the flight costs they will be compensate.

Kate couldn't believe this, how? She feels excited and happy... but she also feels like to pass out. 'Dear do you need some water to work this trough?' Her mentor asked, she nodded and her mentor left. Kate stared at the letter, she didn't believe what happened. A whole season? That's insane! McLaren!? Omg...

'Kate! What did you just do!!!!' Her boyfriend came into the classroom. Followed by mss Van Heijden who looked exhausted. He ran towards me and gave him a big hug. 'I will miss you tho.' Kate gave him a kiss, Jason's curled blond hair and his eyes. Just lovely. Jason stopped hugging and smiled.

'I start this week.' Kate told Jason who still couldn't believe it. 'Get a signature off Daniel and Max, for me.' Kate grinned and nodded. 'Haha I'll try for you.' Kate stared at her Boyfriend and grinned.

'Please don't fall in love with any of the drivers. I don't want to loose my girlfriend, it wil hurt a lot... and make me feel Terrible and Mad and ....' he got interrupted. 'Don't worry cry baby! I won't. I love you so much! We have been together for two years. We never cheated on each other right?' Kate told him and he smiled sweet.

'Right, gonna miss you babe.' Kate laughed kindly and pulled him into her arms again. 'I'm gonna miss you to, I'll call you every day! That's a promise. I think I'm gonna see a lot, so I'll come with a lot of stories and stuff.' Kate told him and she let him go. 'Yea, promise.' Jason said with a smile.
