"Are y- you sure you're al- alright?" The little girl asked her friend as they parked in the college parking lot. She grabbed her bag from the gas station and stuffed her sandwich in her bag, along with her AriZona.

"I'm perfectly fine." Peter answered, but his frown still didn't leave his face as he gave the students a once over. He really had a bad feeling. "H- here then. Take th- this."

She handed the boy a pack of gum and starburst. "Is this your way of telling me I have bad breath." The boy snorted jokingly. He looked at the pack of mint gum and back at the girl who was red as a tomato.

"Of course n- not!" She shook her head. "I've just- I've seen you a- always needing to be doing s- something with your body. You've g- got nerves."

"G- gum helps." She went back to getting her stuff ready, Peter looking at the gum and back at her once more, wondering how is it that she knew about this. Of course it was easy to say from personal experience. Knowing he had seen her always tap her finger or bounce her leg. Plus professors don't really teach this.

"Thanks." He wanted to give them back to her, tell her she should've filled the car with gas instead of wasting her money on him. Then all of a sudden just as Rory was about to open the door, his super senses went off and just on cue the lake twins slammed their hands on the windows, startling them.

Aurora let out a scream, shaking in fear as she reached to hold onto anything. Peter hadn't seen it coming either, but he was rather calm compared to the girl. She was holding onto her satchel for dear life and her eyes screwed shut.

Peter glanced to his right, finding Barbara with a big loud laugh, of course it faltered for a second when she saw Peter. In Aurora's car. What is he doing here?

Mitch would be laughing as well if he hadn't seen that his friend had actually been scared. A lot. He knocked on the window, waiting for her to look up but she only shook her head.

"It's fine Rory. It's just the twins." Peter reassured her. She slowly opened one eye, looking at Peter and seeing him point outside of the car, The ginger girl waving quickly.

Mitch knocked the window again, finally seeing the girl look at him, still shaking as she took a deep breath. She shook her head left and right, quite upset at the boy for scaring her.

The boy opened the door and squatted down a bit to her height, "I'm sorry." He took the girl in a hug, surprising her for a second. "Barbara made me do it."

"It- it's okay." She clenched her hands into fists, preventing them from shaking anymore as the boy helped her out of the car. Rory thanked him with her usual stutter and watched as she locked the car after Peter stepped out.

"Are you okay?" Peter asked form the other side of the car. She nodded, feeling quite at ease knowing this was just a joke. She could've died. Probably. But it wasn't their fault they didn't know she had been kidnapped in her car before.
