"I don't like the sun Michael!" I quietly whined, trying to resist him pulling me down the sidewalk of the city, passing shops on our way.

"Oh please, it's barely bright out!" The green haired boy scoffed at me, still yanking me along by the wrist. Apparently he was bored of just hanging out in my apartment every other day for a few months straight and decided it would be wonderful to go outside. I think not. But honestly, if I wasn't completely in love with him I would be in my kitchen with all the blinds shut eating nutella from the tub.

He told me we were going to the best place in the world. The place where all dreams come true and the one place where his fondest memories were made. He later mentioned that place was they ice cream parlour. To that I called him a dork.

The sky was blinding me and I was a bit scared. It's been a while since I went out in the sun. It took 2 hours of bribing on Michael's behalf to get me to come outside. We reached our destination and Michael was smiling like a 5 year old. It was so cute.

"Were here!" He said shortly, like he could barely contain his excitement. I glared at the chipped mint blue paint that covered the venue.

"I noticed." I guess I was a bit rude because the smile quickly faded. I felt a bit bad, knowing how this place probably meant a lot to him so I tried to cheer up a bit, since I was still grumbling about the sun.

We walked through the front doors, a small bell ringing as we did. "Stop being a debt downer or I'll burn all of your books and make you go our in the sun every. Day." He warned. "Now, Lucas. What would you like?" I picked a random thing off the menu for him to order me and we went to sit under some trees in a grassy clearing a bit behind the building. It was a bit shaded back here, which I appreciated. Sunlight can suck my ass. Don't ask, I got that expression from Michael.

"Why did it have to end?? We could've been forever, you and me. But then you had to melt! I loved you! I was in love with you but you slipped away!!" Michael dramatically yelled at the remainder of his melted sundae, as I layed on my stomach under the tree watching him in amusement.

"These violent delights have violent ends, and in their triumph die, like fire and powder which, as they kiss, consume." Michael stared at me with a "WTF" look.

"Bloody hell was that? Are you like, 80?" He yelled. I internally rolled my eyes.

"It's Shakespeare. Oh sorry, that's too advanced for you!" I joked, hoping he wouldn't take to to heart. He laughed dryly at me.

"Well that sundae was my third girlfriend, and I though it would last. Ya know they say 3 is a charm! She didn't even love me back! Cruel bitch of an ice cream if I do say so myself!" He yelled again.

"Don't waste your love on somebody, who doesn't value it!" I spoke thoughtfully, trying to relate everything he said to one of Shakespeare's most famous piece of literature.

"Stop being weird with your book quotes, you're such a tool!" I sat up and crossed my legs In front of him.

"Excuse you, Shakespeare is not weird, his writing is amazing." I defended.

" yeah whatever you say, weirdo." He chuckled and threw a handful of dirt and grass at me, which I returned. This quickly turned into a wrestling match as he flung himself on top of me, putting sticks in my quiff. Not cool.

He found my ticklish spot and obviously, he took advantage of that. I was close to tears and laughing so hard that i totally missed the position were in. I was now facing him propped up on my elbows, his arms were steadying himself by either side of my waist and his feet were hooked underneath my ankles.

I was most definitely blushing so hard right now. We stared at each other breathlessly for a minute before he smirked, reaching up a hand to tickle my stomach again, quite aware that if either of us squirmed that I would let go and he would come crashing into me. He did it anyway. I scrunched up my face, stretching both of my legs out before he fell down onto my body , legs on either side of mine. I gulped loudly and looked into his green orbs, and they stared right back into mine.

This is a very suggestive position. Michael didn't seem awkwarded out though, he was laughing. I shifted underneath him, causing my grip on his shoulders to come loose and his hands quickly slammed down on either side of my face, but they couldn't catch him in time to stop his plump lips from brushing against mine. They stayed there for just a moment, and I could feel his steady breath fanning against my thin lips. My body was trembling from nerves and I refused to move a muscle. He closed his eyes gracefully before drawing back to a sitting position on my lap. I can't believe that just happened. He pulled me up to join him in a standing position and he seemed totally unfazed.

"Well that was an experience!" He laughed and bumped shoulders with mine, collecting his SnapBack off the ground and securing it over his slightly faded hair. I just stood there. We started to walk back towards my apartment building, Michael had to get home a bit earlier, something to do with his sister. We shared small talk on the way back and he made a few yo mama jokes, which he found way too amusing.

We stopped opinion front of my door and I turned to face him. He tapped his converse off the hard floor a few time and bit his lip, looking up at me. Butterflies in my stomach started going wild at the sight.

"I'm taking you somewhere this weekend." He said, nodding. Wow you're not my mom.

"Don't be so forward, Michael, gosh." I pretended. I tired being cool and sarcastic but my voice cracked and stuttered, I was still in a daze from earlier. He laughed at me, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Dress nice, but casual. Be ready at 7" he said in a serious tone. I smiled, nodding my head. He was acting a little shy, and it made me nervous. He cracked his knuckles and took a few steps away from my doorstep.

"I had a good time today, luke. Thanks."

"I had fun too, Michael." I smiled widely at his kindness. I opened my door and spoke again.

"Goodnight, goodnight. Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow." He crossed his arms I front of himself, obviously done with the Shakespeare bullshit.

"Seriously bro, enough with the Romeo and Juliet! It's not even that good!" As soon as the words left his mouth he slapped a hand over his face. My eyes lit up and I pointed at him accusingly, and he looked embarrassed.

"You've read it! You have read Romeo and Juliet, you know what I'm talking about! Don't even try to deny it, it's too late for that now!" I said with a devilish grin. He scratched his head and sighed.

"Well sometimes the library gets boring! There's no wifi, my friends never visit me, and by the way it sucked balls. She's like, 12, and they could've handled the situation so much better!" He ranted, turning a light share of pink. I have never seen him flustered before. Big bad Michael is a romance fan, who would've thought.

"You're a closeted romance fan, aren't you? I'd never take you for the romantic type!" I sniggered. The blush left his cheeks as he returned to his normal self.

"Well, you'll just have to find out, won't you?" He licked his lips and turned back on to me, strutting out the front doors onto the street. Damn, that boy.
