The kids looked through the box then Ginny pulled out one that was labeled "in 10 years" they took out the quidditch tape and pushed in the new one. There was static for a second then sitting in front of the camera was Sirius and Netty "hey! And welcome to Marauders madness-should we even call it madness because I don't think today's going to be that bad" netty asked Sirius "it's the order mon amour, it's going to get a bit mad in here" he said which made netty laugh "mon amour? That means my love, you two were dating during this?" Hermione asked Sirius who nodded with a smile "well anyways! Today me and Sirius are going to go around the meeting and ask everyone what they think they'll be doing in ten years. Get the camera love" she said standing up "fine fine...bossy much" Sirius said.
He turned the camera to face him "in ten years I hope to not be getting bossed around by her" something from behind the camera came flying at Sirius and hit him in the face "I heard that you prick" netty yelled. "She seemed to have a hold on Sirius" Hermione said, "He won't admit it but he was in love with her" James said with a laugh "I personally wouldn't say in love, but if you insist"sirius said with a small but sad smile. Netty sat next to Sirius on the couch and put a hand on his thigh then laid her head on his shoulder
The camera cut for a second then netty showed back up standing next to dumbledore "bloody hell, that's dumbledore" Ron asked which made everyone laugh "ok, we're here with professor dumbledore, aka the leader of the order, aka the man who can no longer give me detention, aka one of the only professors besides Minnie who put up with us" dumbledore laughed and so did netty "now tell us professor, what will you be doing in ten years?" Dumbledore thought for a second then turned to netty "probably putting up with yours and the rest of the orders kids" netty and Sirius laughed "oh your funny professor, me and Sirius aren't having kids" he laughed and the camera cut
The video switched back on "I'm here with Mr and Mrs Weasley aka the people I get kids from" they laughed "now tell me weasley's, what will you be doing in ten years?" The kids all laughed as they saw way younger version of molly and Arthur "wow dad you had hair" Fred said, Arthur laughed and shook his head "thanks Freddie"
"I think we'll be with our family and you guys, and Trying stop you from turning the twins into the next generation of the marauders" molly said. Netty laughed "aww molly, you think you can stop that...it's going to happen no matter what" she said "mum! You wanted to stop her from making us a marauder-" Fred started "we thought you loved us" George finished. Molly wiped her tears and laughed.Sirius and Netty interviewed the rest of the order and the marauders, and it was now Sirius's turn "blimey I looked good" Sirius said. James and Remus rolled their eyes and laughed while everyone else just laughed "ok, I'm here with Sirius, aka padfoot, aka my love" netty said, the girls all awed while Sirius smiled "aka your future husband, can't forget that one" Sirius said as he wrapped an arm around her and kissed her cheek, the girls once again awed and netty blushed both in the video and as a ghost.
"Right and my future husband, ok future husband tell me, what do you think you'll be doing in ten years?" Sirius smiled at her "in ten years I'll be, married to you in our house across the street from Lily and prongs" netty laughed while still smiling at Sirius "helping the order, and maybe taking care of a mini padfoot?" Netty looked at him a bit shocked "I thought we didn't want kids?" Sirius shrugged "maybe just one, for Harry?" Netty smiled and nodded "ok,just one" Sirius's smile got bigger and he gave her a kiss "you two were so cute" molly said to Sirius "not as cute as me and Lily" James said "James, yes they were" Lily said which made everyone laugh
The tape went static again and they thought it was over. When Harry went to take the tape out it flicked back on, sitting there looking a bit annoyed was netty, she was under a blanket, her hair was in a high bun and she was in sweatpants and a hoodie, Sirius was hugging her waist while laying down top of her and she brushed through his hair. He was placing small kisses on her face"Sirius! You were in love! Look how cute you were being" Ginny said as she pointed out the couple "I guess I was" he said with a smile "oh so when I say you're in love it's not true but when the twelve year old says it you are! Outrageous" James said which made Sirius and the rest laugh.
"you wake me up, to put a camera in my face...really guys" she said as she pulled the blanket over her head. James pulled it off her head "we didn't ask you nutty" Remus said, she sighed then sat up "tell us Mrs.Black, what will you be doing in ten years" netty thought for a second "in ten year I'll be watching all my godchildren, that includes the Potter, weasley, and longbottom children, just saying...helping the order, apparently taking care of a mini padfoot" the guys all gasped "you decided to have a kid?" James asked, Sirius nodded with a smirk and netty laughed "married to Sirius and being with you guys" she said with a smile. The adults cried as the word came out the speakers "ok sign us out nutty" James said, netty smiled her big pearly white smile "that's all for today, goodnight and goodbye, muah" she blew a kiss and Sirius kissed her then the video cut off.
For the rest of the night they stayed up watching videos and telling stories of netty. James pulled one out from a box he had in the room and put it in "prepare to cry everyone" he said with a laugh already tearing up himself. The video started and a venue full of people showed then James and lily were zoomed in on "you looked beautiful Mrs potter" Hermione said in awe "thank you dear" lily said with a smile "oi look at that dashing man!" Sirius said pointing to himself with a proud grin
"can I have everyone's attention please!" Netty said as she clinked her fork to her cup "this was her real speech, the one she did after her and Sirius made themselves look like fools" Lily said as she teared up "thank you...ok I'm going to try my best because I'm not super heartfelt all the time but, I want to make a toast to the newlyweds, my best friends, and my brother and sister. Since the day I met you two I knew I would always have a place, a home, someone to help me. Even before you two started to date I knew you were soulmates even though lily claimed she hated James it was painfully obvious let's be honest" the people in the video laughed and so did the group " I just want to wish you both a happy, long, loving life together and know I'm always here if you two ever need help with anything, congratulations to you both I love you both more than you know" and with that the video was over
"Alright everyone off to bed" Mrs. weasley said between sobs after watching Netty's toast "can we stay up and watch the rest, please"harry said to his parents "its late, we need sleep, you can watch the rest tomorrow"lily said. the kids groaned but all went to bed.
Harry and Ron shared a room when the weasleys visited so even though they were told to go to sleep, the two of them didn't. "What do you think it would be like if netty was here?" Harry asked as they laid in bed "well by the videos, I would say we would still be able to be up"the boys chuckled "do you think she's actually watching over us, or that's just a thing people say?" Ron said now looking at Harry "Well considering my house has smelled like strawberry pound cake since I was a baby and not once has my mum made or wore it, I say she is" harry said with a laugh. The boys continued to talk about netty and school until they both fell asleep.
