Lucas POV:

Hi. I am Lucas, best friend of Hazel Levesque. Speaking of Hazel, there she comes now. 

"Hi Hazel!"

"Hey Lucas. You're early today!"

"And you're late!"

She mumbled something about family business and called shotgun. I picked up our friend Julia on the way. Julia told us about her cousin who was visiting. The three of us talked about anything and everything. Me and Julia always clicked but Hazel was unusually quiet today. I wanted to ask her about it but decided not to. I'll observe her for the whole day and see if she's quiet then also.

When we entered the school, we were about to go to our homeroom when I saw the so called 'popular girls' picking on Hazel. I was about to go there and help but Julia flashed me a look that said, 'I got this.'

"Run away loser. Leave Hazel alone. Come near her once again and you'll see what I can do," Julia threatened Tiffany.

"Whatever," Tiffany ran off with her friends. 

"Thanks Julia," Hazel smiled at us. 

"You gotta stand up for yourself, Hazel. Don't let these rats bully you," I said.

Hazel mumbled something I couldn't get. It sounded like, 'Stand up for myself. Ha. Tiffany will get a broken nose.'

"What?" asked Julia.

"Nothing," replied Hazel.

Julia put her arm around Hazel and walked with her to homeroom. 

"So did you know that we're having two new admissions today?"

"Oh yes. I am very excited to meet them," Hazel looked very cheerful.

We took our seats in Homeroom class. Just another boring day of school. I wished I knew how wrong I was.

Hazel POV:

Yes! Nico and Frank are coming to my school! Reyna finally agreed. She will be managing the Praetor duties for a few months while Frank goes to school with me. Nico decided to come to school because we hadn't seen each other since some time and also because he wanted to 'take care of me.'

I had laughed when Nico said that. He told me there were dangers I was not aware of. I considered it a joke and let it go. 

I was interrupted by our teacher. "Hazel?" 

"Yes?"

"What is the answer to the question I was explaining since the last 30 mins?" Asked the teacher.

I blushed deep red and mumbled sorry. Half of the class snickered but Julia glared at all of them. The teacher sighed and moved on to the next student. I flashed Julia a thankful smile and she gave me a thumbs up. The rumors about me being a witch had started again. It made my social life very hard. Lucas and Julia were my only friends at school and they always stood up for me. 

I returned to my thoughts. 

***Da Time skip***

I was called to the office in Chemistry period. I practically ran to the office. I saw Frank and Nico talking. Even after going on so many quests with Nico, Frank looked scared. I smiled mentally knowing that Nico could be scary when he wanted to. 

I hugged Frank who turned around and hugged me back. 

"I missed you." I said to Frank. 

"Missed you too," replied Frank.

Nico smiled at us. He had gotten better at doing that. 

Frank put me down and I hugged Nico and kissed him on the cheek. I talked to both of them, got their locker numbers, showed them around and took them to a quiet place under a tree in the courtyard. The bell was due to ring any minute and I couldn't wait to introduce Julia and Lucas to my boyfriend and brother. 

When the bell did ring however, I found a panting Lucas rush towards me. "Ju-Julia hurt. So-some dog a-attacked." He panted. 

Hellhound. I bought out my Spatha and rushed towards Julia. I saw the hellhound about to kill her and vaporized the hellhound sending him back to Tartarus. She had a nasty cut on her leg and a few scratches here and there. Her eyes were wide in shock. I helped her up. 

"You okay?" I asked her. 

"That-that monster. He-he was from the Greek mythology," Julia stammered. 

"Yes Julia. Now tell me, were you adopted? Are both your parents alive?" I asked her.

"My dad left my mom when she was about to have me. My mom married my step-father and raised me. I never met my biological dad." She told me sadly. 

"That's because your dad is a Roman god," I explained everything to her.

"You saved my life Hazel. Thank you," For the first time, I saw tears in Julia's eyes. I consoled her and led her to Frank, Nico and Lucas. 

I trusted Lucas and told him everything. He nodded and told me he had always known I was different. I saw Lucas look at Julia lovingly. I felt some love brewing and left them alone. I dragged Nico and Frank with me.

Lucas POV: 

Ever since I found out that Julia is a demigod, I felt an affection to her. I had always felt that but I had kept it hidden.  Today I finally decided to express my feelings to her. I looked at her pale brown hair, wishing to run my hands through it. She had a muscular build and was very tall. Some people might say she was ugly, but I found her very beautiful.

"Julia, can we talk?" I asked her nervously.

"Yeah, sure," she replied with a faint smile. 

"Julia I know this is probably not the best time but I have had a crush on you for a very long time. I really like you. Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her very nervously.

"Lucas, you are a great person. You have a kind heart, a cute smile and I find you very good looking too. And yes, I would love to be your girlfriend!" Julia leaned in and kissed me. I kissed her back. We both pulled away and walked hand in hand, to our next class.

Hazel POV:

Nico told me that he was going to Iris-message Will. I smirked at him and told him to go. I then looked at Frank. I moved closer to him. 

"How are praetor duties?"

"They're going good. But not as good as you," He replied smiling.

I leaned in and kissed him. We kissed for about 3 minutes and then broke apart. 

"I love you Frank Zhang."

"I Love you too, Miss Levesque," He smiled at me and I smiled back.

I was also thinking of continuing Lucas and Julia's story. Should I do a part two?
