Hey, so its me again! You guys remember Tim, son of Hades? This is a part 2 of Avery and Tim's story intersecting. Let's get on with the chapter now.

Avery's POV:

I paddled furiously while trying to catch my breath. Yes, I was late again. And this time I ended up breaking my alarm clock. My hair fell into my eyes and I shook my head, trying to shake them away.

My hair didn't shake away.

I crashed into someone and I  pressed the brakes. My bike fell sideways and I fell on the ground in a heap. I untangled my legs. I pushed back my hair and offered a hand to the person I crashed into.

The boy in front of me muttered, "Jason is going to kill me." I noticed that he had a box in his hand.

"I am so sorry. Are you fine?" I asked him.

"Yeah. But I'll be getting killed by my friend very soon so I won't be fine then. Sorry, now you probably think I'm an idiot. I don't know why I am ranting so much, I'm usually all quiet."

I chuckled, "I am the idiot here, crashing into a boy who is in trouble due to unknown reasons."

"I'm Tim. Tim Miller." Tim extended his hand.

"Avery Watson." I shook his hand.

"Are you usually crashing into people?" Tim grinned, letting me know he meant it in a playful way.

"Nah. I just crash into walls when I am late for school." I grinned back.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting." Tim helped me pick my bike.

"Oh no. No, no, no." I looked at my bike, the paddle broken.

"I am so sorry. I should have paid attention to where I was going and avoided crashing into random people riding their bikes."

"It's my fault. But I should be thanking you, now I have an excuse to miss school today." I smiled a little hesitantly.

"Well, I'll leave you to it. I would have said see you around, but that's not happening, is it?" Tim picked up his box.

"Yeah, it isn't. Bye." I waved at Tim.

Tim waved back and walked ahead.

***Time skip cause I'm too lazy***

I crossed the road and hummed along to my favorite song. I wasn't exactly paying attention to where I was going, perhaps that was the reason why I crashed into someone.

"We really need to stop meeting like this." I heard a kind of familiar voice say. I looked up to meet a pair of dark grey eyes. The same eyes I had thought about since the last week.

"Tim. Hey. I think you mean I need to stop being clumsy and watch where I'm going." Tim offered me a hand and pulled me up.

"Well Avery, whatever the reason, we need to stop crashing into each-other." Tim grinned.

"Yeah. How about we properly meet up sometime?" I smiled.

"Sure. I was just heading to Starbucks." Tim said.

"Me too!" I removed my earbuds and put them in my pocket.

We walked together in awkward silence.

"Which song were you listening to?" Tim said all of a sudden.

"Oh, I was listening to Weak by AJR." I said.

"I love that song." Tim said. Silence engulfed us again. Why is this so awkward?

We finally reached and I opened the door. I stepped inside and walked to the nearest table. Tim walked behind me. We both took a seat.

"So.. you like to come here often?" I asked Tim.

"No, not much. I usually take a seat in the corner and draw some stuff." Tim looked a little hesitant when he mentioned drawing.

"You like drawing too? I love to sketch! This is usually my favorite place to draw." I grinned.

Tim's eyes sparkled. "There's actually this pond that I found. It's hidden by some shrubs and I just love to draw there. It inspires me to draw some new stuff. Wanna see it sometime?"

We talked about the different sketches we drew, which ones we wanted to draw. Tim understood me in a way no-one had. The way we clicked, it was amazing. Our ideas were similar and we shared the same hobbies.

After about one hour, it was time for me to go.

"You want to meet up some other time?" I asked Tim as I picked my bag.

"Yeah, I'll er.. bump into you again." Tim said.

I laughed at that, "I'll text you. Can I have your number?" I bought out my phone from my bag.

"I accidently dropped my phone and it's damaged. Can you give me your number? I'll call you when I get a new phone." Tim took a napkin from the table and took out a pen from his bag.

"Yeah, here." I gave him my number, said goodbye and left.

Today was amazing. I can't wait to meet Tim again.

Tim's POV:

Wow. I actually had fun today. Meeting Avery again was amazing. The way her blue eyes sparkled, the way her pink lips stretched when she smiled, the way her hair looked in the light. She sure was pretty.

And I was falling for her. Hard.

And I knew that once I fell in that hole, I won't come out. I needed to get in control of my emotions.

And I felt very guilty for lying to her about my phone. But being a demigod, I just couldn't own a smartphone without it going haywire.

My thoughts drifted off to Avery again.

'Forget her Tim. She's too good for you.'  said one part of my brain.

'She's beautiful!' Argued the other.

What was I supposed to do??

Perhaps because I was distracted, I shadow-travelled to the wrong place.

Dun-dun-dun. Where did Tim shadow-travel to? What happens between Avery and Tim?

To get the answer to those questions, my dear readers, you will have to wait for another chapter.

I know this one was kinda short, but I have had a hard time to find some time to update. Please vote and comment!
