New School, New Me?

Sunday me and nathan went to Texas Steak house, now its monday morning. Monday came a lot sooner than i wanted it to, it felt like the weekend went by in a flash. But my alarm woke me up at 6AM and now i have to be ready by 7. I finally got out of bed going for a quick shower, as the water ran down me i felt pure heaven. Showering was hard to accomplish at moms, she was always trying to fight me so i had to do it when she was gone or hope she didn't wake up from your alcohol nap.

Finally getting out it was 6:20, i blow dried my hair laying it down in my face and then slid on one of my new outfits, again, it was one of my favorite bands. This time i choose to wear my red and black checkered vans. Grabbing my phone, charger, and backpack i ran down the stairs. I checked my phone 6:35. I asked the chef for some french toast with apple sauce on the side. At 6:45 i finally started eating. As i did i set up a snapchat account, maybe i can get some friends and we can all share snaps and be able to talk. I knew a little bit about it but i figured i could learn. At 6:55 nathan appeared.

"Ready to go?" he asked grabbing a protein shake from the fridge. I Nodded gulping down the last of my apple sauce. Grabbing a XL Monster energy can from the fridge i walked out. We climbed into nathan's new Aston Martin Valkyrie and drove off. When i say this thing felt like you was gliding, i mean it was the best ride ever. It was so smooth.

As we pulled up to Brassville high i started feeling anxious. It was my first day but after studying the lay out i figured i could figure it out. Nathan handed me a lunch sack from the back seat, "Here i dont know what they serve here so there's Hamburger helper, soda, and a cosmic brownie in here, if you don't want to eat it you don't have to but just make sure you bring everything back home with you at the end of the day." i smile and grab it. "Thanks bub." i say getting out and shutting the door.

As i enter the building i looked at the time, 7:!5. i go into the lunch room to wait for first bell. I went through the lunch line grabbing a apple and going to sit at a empty table. As i munched on my apple i looked around to see the different students. There was a table of what i assumed would be the jockeys, a table of people on laptops so that must be the "Nerd/ computer geek" table, some preppy looking chicks by the jocks table, and then a bunch of other groups i couldn't quite pin a label on. It was now 7:30 when the bell rang, noone got up. I assumed it was a warning bell, at 7:45 the next bell went off, thats when people started standing up. I grabbed my bag and lunch and went to the office.

"Hi, can i help you?" The office women looked up and then noticed it was me.

"Here's your schedule, your first class will be down the main hall there and take a left." she said handing me a schedule and a ID card. "The ID card will let you in the building if you leave for lunch and then it can also be used to scan for being able to buy your lunch. Your first 10 days you'll get free meals since your new but after that you'll need to bring your lunch or its $2.15 per lunch/ breakfast. If you don't have any questions you can go off to class you got 2 minutes, but just let your teachers know your new and they'll give you the a few extra minutes this week to figure your way around." she stood up after clicking a button on her computer. I thanked her and walked off following her directions. The bell went off when i took a left. I looked at each door wondering where my teachers room was, i finally found it and walked in. People were still moving to their seats so i walked up to the teacher.

"Hi, Im Max Houffer i'm one of your new student?" I stated which came out more of a question. She examined her computer and looked. "I have a braylynn Houffer? Do you have a sibling did your schedules get mixed up?" she she looked over at me.

"Umm no so my legal name is braylynn but i go by max. I also don't use she/her pronouns i use Him/His. Sorry i should of explained that first." She seemed puzzled.

"Alright well i guess i can call you max for now but can i ask how you get max out of braylynn? Or if there is a deep reason you can meet me after first bell but i got to get this class under control just stay here."

"Alright everyone, settle down, find your seats, and prepare for todays lesson." everyone started crossing over to their seats or turning to pay attention. "Now i know its the 3rd week everyone is so excited its finally about september you all want to go play in the leaves or do whatever seniors do nowadays, but this is Max. Please welcome him accordingly." she turned towards me. "Would you like to introduce yourself?" she motioned me to the front of the class.

"Hi, as you know im max, im a midget compared to all of you, i like what most people consider "Emo" bands. I don't know any of you but if you want to be friends dont be afraid to come up to me. Ummm...." i looked at the teacher for anything else i may needed to mention. She clapped her hands together.

"Alright class that was max. You can go sit over there in the corner by Ashley and Heather and Jonathan. She pointed to a group of kids they didn't seem to bad. I took my seat in the 4 section Pods she had arranged.

"Now today we are going to be starting a new book can anyone guess what it is?"

It was now the end of the day i was so tired, i ran out of monster during my 4th period. Nathan pulled up texting me that he was outside. I walked out to his car plopping it sighing. He chuckled and drove me home. He asked me how my day was and all i did was sigh again. Knowing he wasnt going to get much lese out of me. Once arriving home, I immediately went to bed once i made it to my room. I was to tired for dinner; so I layed down and plugged my phone in.
