 The Lies Between Us

16 – Say Something

"Ugh, I can't with this..."

Tait had tried to tie and untie his necktie a few times before slumping his butt on his actor chair.

"Here, let me help."

Tait turned and swallowed a lump seeing Lisie Moore coming up to him. He straightened his back as she made her way to him. He remained seated while she pulls the nearest stool in front of him.

The filming crew was back at Star Avenue after filming for a couple of weeks in Perth. He's decided that whatever happened there will never happen again in Star. Tait thought that whatever he's feeling for Lisie will be better if he's stayed away.

He's already gone through some serious stuff before. And if he lets himself be close to her like what he doesn't normally do to other costars then the possibility of him falling is close to a 100 percent.

That night at Ed's party confirmed his feelings for her. He was feeling the effects of the alcohol and he's sure he was going to get laid that night hadn't she grabbed his hand. Her reaction was still fresh in his mind like it was only yesterday.

"Did you come here alone?" His voice overlaps with the club's noise making it impossible for him to get to her.

"Let's go hotshot. I'll let you do anything to me..." The blonde pin up model whispered seductively. But the lust he was forcing himself to feel didn't come. He surveyed the girl's face trying to look for something sexy but there's nothing about her that could turn him on.

Even though he was eager to get some action it seems like he couldn't do it anymore. It's not like he's completely nice. Even before he got into a relationship he does sleep with some hot chic whenever he wants to. New Zealand was a chill country but it didn't stop him from having sex.

"Um...you go ahead. I'll follow soon." He lied smoothly. He'll never come to her now that he knew for sure he made someone upset. At least now that she's seen him like this, she'll know she should stay away.

But he also realized that maybe she's also developing feelings for him slowly.

"Don't be long. I'll be naked when you get there..." She giggled. Tait shut his eyes trying to imagine this girl naked but another girl flashed in his mind wearing nothing but white sheets. Her ash blonde hair messy and out of place, eyes brown and alluring and her lips...

Her lips are pouty and cute. But definitely sexy especially when she bites them.

That's when he felt something twitch down his pants.

Tait talked to Ed asking him if he's seen where Lis went. He let out a breath when he found out her bodyguard was there to pick her up.

He didn't stay another minute at the club. As soon as he realized she's safe, he hailed a cab and went to his hotel.

The remaining days in Perth, he stayed cold to her. But she really made it difficult for him because she started texting him.
