Everything was going as usual. Waking up early, going to work, arriving home tired-
The only thing that seemd to be missing was a blond idiot waiting at home for her- greeting her with a huge dopey smile and asking about her day.

Quinn understands that Gary has no ill intent, that just who he is. He wouldn't do anything to hurt someone else unless given a good reason- even then, Quinn doubted Gary could hurt anyone.
She knows that Gary simply wanted to do what's right for both parties. He wanted to let Kevin meet her at last and for her to finally trust others.

Gary had attempted this many times, trying to make Quinn some friends by setting her up with people who she'd look like she'd "have a nice time with".
It always annoyed her how Gary couldn't understand that they weren't supposed to befriend the land walkers, that they were dangerous... but it also worried her as Gary wasn't someone to see evil in other people.

She didn't like it when people stared at her, it made her paranoid that they found out her little secret- so the moment Gary brought in people who had the full knowledge of what she was after she worked so hard for her human life....

Sighing, Quinn removed her red cap as she sank deeper into the bath, the warm water cleansing her skin and washing away the stress.
She decided she'd try find Gary after the bath.

"Enough Mooncake!" Gary laughed as Mooncake had tried to tip yet another boat "you do know people are in those right? You'll hurt someone" Gary chuckled, laying ontop of the squishy creature

"Chooookity" Mooncake hummed in reply, seeming to regret it. Gary smiled though, knowing Mooncake simply saw boats as floating toys.

"I wish you could come to land with me" the blond said out of nowhere, sighing as Mooncake swam further down "it's great up there- so much to see..."

"Mmm" Mooncake hummed in reply to show that he was listening

"There's this guy that kind of looks like a cat? His name is Avocato- I told you about him before" Gary swam off Mooncake so they were face to face "Im like...Hundred percent sure he is the guy we pushed off the boat that one time but he doesn't seem to remember me"

"Chookity..."

"No! Its ok, Mooncaje! You were just playing around" Gary giggled "But be careful alright? Come on! Lets see if we can find you a sunken ship to play with"

"Chookity pok!" Mooncake chirped happily, swimming after Gary before under him, practically picking him up and giving him a ride.

"What?!" Little Cato shrieked "Why didn't you tell me?!"

"Hush- you'll scare the fish away" Kevin whispered

The trio were currently sat on the end of the deck, all holding fishing rods in hopes to catch something.
Kevin's bucket seemed to have a few fish, Avocato managed to catch one decent fish while Avocato caught a tiny fish...with his hand.

"Sorry, I didn't want to worry you" Avocato sighed "you're always speaking about the sea well and I was afraid me nearly drowning and encountering a mermaid would have scared you"

"Scared? me?!" Little Cato exclaimed

"Shhhh!" Kevin hushed them

"If anything it only makes me more curious! I wish I could meet a real mermaid like you did" Little Cato smiled

"I was drowning" Avocato quirked a brow

"Still!" Little Cato laughed

"Hello" a face suddenly popped from the water making Kevin sputter in surprise, Little Cato shrieked and Avocato yelp.
In the water was Quinn, her hat wasn't on her head.
