Avocato was thankful that his son was ok and he certainly felt as if he opened the man who saved his kid his life....but

"Is there something on my face?" The ventraxian asked finally, finding that the human would not stop staring at him

"Hm?" The other blinked, leaning in to try look for anything on Avocato's face "no I don't think so" he smiled, leaning back but continuing to stare.

Little Cato snickered, he was sat inbetween his dad and Gary while Kevin drove the mini van. Avocato sighed, knowing that everyone could see the human stare at him.
Clearing his throat, he then proceeded to slowly turn to the other, trying to read his expression. To put it shortly, the look in his eyes simply read curiosity

"Could...you please stop staring?" Avocato said a bit awkwardly, not meaning to sound rude.
He watched Gary blink from behind his broken reading glasses and briefly wondered if he could buy the man new glasses as a thank you gift, since reading glasses can be quite expensive.

"Oh! Sure" Gary smiled, turning to look put the window with a carefree smile

"So Gary!" Kevin finally decided to speak, snickering when Avocato glared at him for not helping him out sooner "where do you live?"

"Oh! I live..." the blond paused with a hum "I live near that place with the big fish sculpture with Quinn" Gary smiled

"Oh, The great fish... roundabout?" Kevin asked, finding the choice of words quite odd, almost as if he were talking to a child

"I think so, yes" the blond nodded

"Who's Quinn, your girlfriend" Kevin chuckled "does she know you're here?"

"Quinn is my friend that is a girl, yes" Gary nodded again, not understanding the other's words correctly "ah! But I haven't told her where I am..." he looked worried

"We could pass by there if you'd like" Avocato offered, eager to repay the other

"Hm? But the fish?" The blond pouted as he turned to the other again

"You can still eat with us! Maybe invite your friend as well" Kevin laughed

"Really! Thank you!" Gary beamed, seemingly happy with it

"Alright! Do you know the directions?" Kevin asked

"Ah! .....no..." Gary replied with a smile "I usually walk there by foot- like a human does when walking" he nodded

"O...kay...." Kevin glanced at Avocato throught the mirror, meeting his eye who gave him the same weirded out expression

"How about you come eat with us now and then visit another time with your friend, Quinn?" Little Cato suggested with a smile

"Good idea, boy" Avocato brushed his son's hair back "what do you say, Gary" he looked up at the human with a soft smile and for a second was sure that his eyes seemed to sparkle brighter

"That sounds good" he nodded quickly with a huge grin

"Then it's decided!" Kevin cheered, turning the wheel to drive towards his market place.

Once the four had arrived, they showed Gary the way who seemed to be getting distracted and amazed by every single small market

"And this one here is a bakery! All of it is homemade!" Little Cato pointed to a small shop, the smell of warm bread and cake bringing Gary closer

"Wow!" The blond gasped smells delicious!"

"Right? When I visit dad let's me get something from there" Little Cato smiled before his ears perked up and he rushed foward "this here is Mr Newton's fish market!" He pointed to the closed market
