It was early morning, Kevin had returned from fishing and Avocato was helping him unload the boat, allowing his son to try help by carrying the bags with him.

"Nice fishing" a man came by, arms crossed and a cocky look on his face.

Little Cato was about to thank the man or brag about Kevin but Avocato quickly stopped him

"Dont you have anything better to do?" Kevin rolled his eyes as he dropped the fish in his market with the catos, man following close behind

"Yeah- fish actually better fish and more fish than you" the man shrugged

Kevin shook his head, he didn't like this man, Turk. Turk was a confident man but a sore loser, he would fish illegal amounts of fish- bringing whatever he caught in his net.
He didn't allow for seafood to reproduce, pulling out shells from rocks with an axe, and he had caught dolphins at some point.

Turk wasn't a "fish and pic" kind of guy- if he caught something good he'd kill it and take it to his own market, brag about it then sell it.

"Good morning" Quinn greeted them

"Oh hello" Turk's attention was taken to her, leaning in with a suave look "and to who do I own the pleaure?"

"No one" Quinn and Kevin replied together- looked at each other in surprise then chuckled.
Since yesterday they had been finding out new things about each other- one of them being that they think quite alike.

Turk growled, glancing at the market before looking back at Quinn

"I will catch you a real good fish, princess" Turk said "then you'll regret your words"

"Don't call me that" Quinn folded her arms

"And do you really think she thinks with her stomach?" Kevin added with a laugh

The Catos remained quiet, watching it all unfold. They watched Turk grumble and storm out, stomping his way to the door

"You'll see!" He shouted

"Who was that?" Quinn asked

"Yeah- and whats his deal?" Little Cato came closer, allowing Quinn to tidy his hair

"Ugh- that's Turk" Avocato groaned, stepping closer as well "he is good at being annoying- has a thing with trying to one-uo this market"

"He has a much bigger market but some don't like to buy from them because of that one time" Kevin began to set up the  fish, chopping up a few and setting them up on the fish stalls with ice

"What happened?" Little Cato asked curiously

"He fished a dolphin, took pictures and killed it then sold it in his market" Kevin answered, watching them cringe "yeah"

The waters were peaceful, the sun waking at last. Gary remained layed on the soft seaweed bed, head using Mooncake as a pillow.
After yesterday's events, Mooncake had agreed to taking the rest if the day to relax which ended in both of them taking a nap.

Fluttering his eyes open, Gary stretched with a hum before cringing at the feeling on his side.

"Right..." he sighed "tentacle"

"Chookity?" Mooncake hummed sleepily, nuzzling further into the seaweeds

"Sorry for waking you" Gary chuckled, remaining there as he pat his friend.

Giggles were heard, catching Gary's attention. Peeking through the weeds, Gary noticed some seahorse mermaids not too faraway, playing together in a group.
He watched them for a moment, it was rare to see them around here. Remaining in his hiding spot, Gary waited for them to leave, swimming out when they couldn't be seen anymore.
