Klaus lay on Elliot's bed, staring at the ceiling in disbelief and shock. He couldn't even cry anymore, it was as if everything had just been sucked out of him. He felt completely empty.

The room was so quiet. Quietness was never something that was familiar to Klaus Hargreeves. Although he could hear the arguing of his siblings downstairs, he could also hear the quiet hum of the television and the distant chatting of people on the street below them, it still felt so quiet.

Ben was gone. For good this time.

And he felt so lonely without him.

"Klaus?" he heard someone say softly from the doorway of the room.

"Lola" he said, sitting up at the sound of his girlfriend's voice, he hadn't seen her in a whole day, and he had been worried about where she had been. He knew she was with Five and Luther, but he wasn't sure how much he trusted them. It reminded him how much he hated being away from her.

"Hey" she said softly, walking over to the bed and sitting down next to him.

"Hey. Where'd you go?" he asked before his arms made their way around her instantly, curling himself around her and clinging on, being able to make himself so small, despite his tall six foot frame.

"I was with Five and Luther, helping Five find his older self. Are you okay?" Willow asked, instantly knowing that something was wrong. She always knew when something was wrong with him, he always got really clingy and needy when he was upset.

"I'm fine. Perfectly fine" Klaus lied, pulling her down so they could both lie on Elliott's bed. Of course, Klaus didn't know who Elliott was, despite the fact that the man's ghost was standing in the corner of the room.

"Klaus, you know you don't have to lie to me. You can't convince me that you are okay right now because I know that you aren't. Vanya already told me about Ben" Willow replied as he lay his head against her chest.

"I keep expecting him to be there. I expect him to give me a judgmental comment or a look from the corner. But he's gone. The one person I never thought could possibly be gone. And he is gone" Klaus told her.

"I know, and I know it's hard. It's going to take time to get used to him not being there" Willow told him, feeling him cling onto her body, burying his head in the crook of her neck.

"Do you miss him?" Klaus mumbled.

"Of course I do, he was my best friend" Willow replied.

"He was mine too. God, he loved you so much, thought you were the best thing that ever happened to me. And he was right, you know" Klaus told her.

"I love you" Willow replied, placing a soft kiss on his forehead.

"I love you too" he mumbled back.
