A year ago you moved to New Orleans where you met the Original family, at first you didn't know they were vampires given you were only human and thought vampires are just myths until some vampire wanted to suck you dry and Klaus came to your rescue and since that day you and Klaus became closer.
Today was your birthday and you hated it because you could only think of bad memories so she didn't celebrate it but unfortnatly Rebekah found out about her friends birthday, (y/n) didn't know how she did it but then again it was Rebekah bloody Mikaelson.
Rebekah organized a whole party for (y/n) but the special guest hid the whole evening in Klaus study and Rebekah searched all evening for (y/n).
"Hiding I see love?" The Original hybrid walked into his study and catched the humans eye who sighed. "I hate my birthday and Rebekah wouldn't listen so I'm hiding." "Shame I would have asked you to dance with me." Klaus smirked and sat down on the chair at his desk while (y/n) sat on the couch.
"I can't even dance." "Then I will teach you." Thr human looked at Klaus as if asking if he was serious - which he was - Klaus smirked and stood up, he offered her his hand. "Well come on love." The younger woman stood up and took his hand wasi mmediately spinned in his arms making her breath hitch.
Klaus lead her through the room, there wasn't any music but for them there was. The Original hybrid and the mortal human where in there own world, both of them slowly came to a stop and looked at each other while leaning in. Klaus lips meet (y/n) who kissed back without thinking twice, they shared a soft passionate kiss, Klaus could taste (y/n) strawberry chapstick which he was immediately was atteched to it.
After a few seconds they pulled away trying to catch there breath. "I wanted to do that for so long." Klaus breathed out making the girl blush as she quitly said. "Me too." "(Y/n) I...I feel like that for a while now and I just didn't know how to tell you. I wanted to be around you all the time, I wanted to hold your hand, kiss you...love you" Klaus confessed and the human smiled as she realised that she had thought the exact same. "And I thought I was weird for thinking the exact same." (Y/n) answerd and kissed Klaus again where he of course kissed back.
"You know if every birthday of mine ends like that...than I wanna celebrate."
