Life is a rollercoaster ride, there are always turns and drops that you will never expect... it truly is a thrill. A few years ago if someone would have walked up to me and said that I would soon to find a soulmate after being alive for one-hundred and something years, I would laugh in their face and then watch their horror and fear as I drain them of their blood and then snapped their neck.

But as I lay in this huge bed that is more like a cloud than anything else, staring at the beautiful ceiling that a man who I'd never thought I'd call my husband had painted. My eyes follow each stroke of colour admiring the beauty of the rich colours and the story is told, his art speaks the words he is too afraid to admit out loud. His art writes the truth of his heart and getting to see and experience every time I wake makes my heart skip a beat.

"Morning Love" I heard him groaned in his husky morning voice, burying his head into my neck and leaving a soft trail of kisses to my collar bone. "Good Morning Nik" I sigh smiling down at him, running my hands through his hair pulling slightly so that I can peck his lips.

He wraps his arms around me pulling me in tight making me squeal and giggle, as he kissed me all over my face causing me to wriggle. "Slept well?" he smirked, "Well what can I say? A big bad hybrid had me up all night, up to no good!" I smirk at him as I roll to be straddled on his waist looking down at him. Klaus smirked up at me and replied, "Well I do aim to please. I must say I do hope you've changed your mind about taking my last name.. I mean - I understand that the era is modern but come on." I laughed at his attempt to be sassy my hand coming to rest on his chest my head tilted down and my hair falling over my face. I felt one of his hand grip my thigh and the other moved my hair and cupped my cheek. I lean into his touch and close my eyes for a brief second.

"Nik, since I like your method of persuasion, I think this would take maybe a little more and maybe you might be able to win me over," I said biting my lip, a smirk playing on his lips as his grip tightened at my waist.

"Besides, I'll always be a Salvatore, even if I do eventually lose the name!" I smirk down at him as he pulls me in for a mindblowing kiss that leaves me craving nothing but him!
