Klaus x Reader
You and Klaus had been together for about two years now and he had turned you at your request about six months ago and you had already been through so much together and you always came out of it stronger than ever. Now with Lucien being the biggest threat you had faced you were unsure what the outcome of this would be.
Chapter 1
"Good morning love" Klaus whispered from beside you as he ran a hand gently through your hair.
"Good Morning Nik" you replied softly. You both got out of bed when you heard Hope shouting for her daddy, while he went to check on her you got dressed.
Klaus came back into the room with a smiling Hope in his arms not long after and she held out her arms towards you when she saw you. Nik passed her to you, he loved how much his daughter loved you and how good you were with her.
You were kneeling at the coffee table and drawing with Hope, while Klaus was sat behind you on the sofa, she held up her paper to show you a face she had drawn "Wow Hope, that's gorgeous. Is it mommy?"
She shook her head and pointed at you, "Y/N." she softly said your name in her cute, bubbly voice. You smiled at her as she passed you the picture.
"Well thank you Hope, can I have a cuddle?" you asked and she nodded and stood up so you opened your arms to her which she happily ran into, she giggled into your chest as you had a cuddle.
You noticed Klaus smiling at you, he always moments like this, spending time with you and Hope it made him feel almost normal, well as normal as you can get when you're a 1000-year-old hybrid.
Klaus' phone vibrated and his jaw clenched as he read the message that he had gotten "I need to go out for a moment love, wait here for me." he said as he stood up and grabbed his coat.
"Is everything okay Nik?" you left Hope drawing another picture and walked over to your boyfriend.
"It's fine love, Elijah needs me for a little while that's all," he placed a quick kiss on your lips.
"I love you, Y/N," he whispered.
"I love you too, Nik," you replied as he sped off. For some unknown reason you didn't believe that he was going to meet Elijah.
Not long after Klaus left, Hayley came home. "Mommy!" Hope yelled and ran over to Hayley's open arms as soon as she saw her mother.
"Hey baby," she turned to you "Hey, where's Klaus?" she asked you, you got on with Hayley very well which was a relief to everyone.
"He said he was going to meet Elijah, he left about five minutes ago" she furrowed her eyebrows at your reply.
"That might explain Elijah rushing off then" you smiled at the female hybrid. You felt your phone vibrate in your pocket signalling that you had gotten a text message, you pulled it out and swallowed as you read it.
"Is it Klaus?" Hayley asked you, you shook your head. "Kol, he wants my help with something," you lied, the text was from Lucien.
'Y/N sweetheart, I have Klaus. Come to the abandoned house on the outskirts of the city. ALONE or I will kill him, Love Lucien'. He wasn't specific about which abandoned house it was but you knew exactly which one he meant, the one where Vincent and his psycho ex-wife used to live.
Chapter 2
You stopped your car not far from where Lucien had told you he was holding Klaus. You walked up to the house and the old, battered door opened with a loud creak "Lucien?" you called out into old, dusty, silent house.
