"Todo, I'm getting upset." Bakugo says and Todoroki groans. "You're always fucking upset. Todo, I'm sad. Todo, I'm angry. Todo, I need to let off some steam. Todo, I need alone time. The world doesn't revolve around you, Katsuki!" Todoroki snaps and Bakugo throws up his arms. "I'm not saying it does. You treat me like shit and expect me to just sit there and take it!" Bakugo snaps and Todoroki slaps him before shoving him to the ground. Bakugo looks up at him with teary eyes.
"You're just like Enji." He whispers and Todoroki just laughs coldly. "I should've married Midoryia. At least he's not a weak number two hero without the guts to rise above." He replies and Bakugo gets up, dusting himself off. "Fuck. You. I want a divorce. You went too far." Bakugo says and Todoroki blinks slowly. "What?" He asks, voice soft and hurt. "I told you how I feel about Deku being number 1. You went too far." Bakugo mumbles and Todoroki shakes his head. "I-I didn't- I shouldn't have... I'm sorry." He says, voice breaking.
"If you promise you'll change, and work on yourself, I'll stay. But if you don't keep your word on this one, I can't take it anymore." Bakugo says and Todoroki nods. "I should've changed a long time ago... I'm so sorry." Todoroki says and Bakugo looks away. "I need some space... I'm gonna go for a run." Bakugo says and Todoroki nods. "Yeah..." He mumbles and leave the room, letting Bakugo get some space. Bakugo gets into workout clothes and goes for a run, pushing himself and getting 5 miles in before he's back.
When he comes back, Todoroki is in the shower. "Hey, babe!" Bakugo calls from behind the bathroom door and Todoroki groans. "Sorry, I thought you'd be gone longer." Todoroki says back and Bakugo ruffles his hair. "Is the door unlocked?" He asks as Todoroki scrubs shampoo into his hair. "Yeah. Want to shower together?" Todoroki asks and Bakugo grabs some pajamas real quick. "Yeah, if you don't mind." He replies and opens the door. He's hit with the sight of Todoroki rinsing his hair peacefully, head tilted back and eyes closed. "I don't mind at all." He murmurs and Bakugo strips, putting his pajamas with Todoroki's.
Todoroki opens the shower curtain to let Bakugo in and the blond steps in calmly. Todoroki hesitantly offers a hug and Bakugo wraps his arms around him tightly. "Its okay, we are going to work on it. I've already forgiven you, now you just gotta earn it." Bakugo says softly and let's Todoroki cling to him. They stand there for a bit before Bakugo breaks away to play with Todoroki's hair and help him finish rinsing it. Todoroki cooperates then helps Bakugo wash before they get out. They dry off and get dressed before Todoroki runs a heated hand through his hair, effectively drying it. Bakugo huffs and rolls his eyes.
"Lucky." He teases and Todoroki makes him sit down, playing with Bakugo's hair with a heated hand until it's dry too. Bakugo leans into his hand and relaxes, letting Todoroki pet him like a dog. Bakugo stands up and hugs Todoroki, not even for reassurance at this point, just seeking comfort and cuddles. Todoroki picks him up bridal style, cradling him in his arms. Bakugo cuddles into his chest and let's Todoroki carry him to their bed. Todoroki lays down with Bakugo tucked into his side and pulls the blond close.
"I love you." Bakugo says softly and Todoroki smiles. "I love you too." Todoroki says and heats his side up for Bakugo. Bakugo smiles sleepily and cuddles into him.
