THAT NIGHT

Jimin came home from a day at the dance studio and some family business. His Uncle had called him by the house to discuss his work. He had really taken a shine to Jungkook and wanted Jimin to have some time with his new husband. Jimin had tried to refuse, but the Don would not hear of it.

They had been married yesterday and the Don had found out that their Honeymoon started next Monday for a couple of weeks.

Jimin: 'We still haven't decided where to go, so we might not be doing anything for all I know.'

Don: 'What is Jungkook doing right now?'

Jimin: 'He took a couple of days off to unpack, but I think he is back to work from Wednesday until Friday.'

Don: 'What the hell are you doing here! Go home to your new husband!'

Jimin didn't want to remind him that it was the Don who had summoned him, so just nodded, and went home.

When Jimin arrived at the condo it was a new sensation. He had never come home to a place with the lights already on and someone in the place. It felt awkward and unfamiliar. Was he supposed to say something? It was his place after all.

Jungkook (from the kitchen): 'Welcome home.'

Jimin grinned as he kicked off his boots and threw his jacket on the rack. He popped his head around the corner to see Jungkook setting some bowls on the island.

Jimin (timidly): 'Hi.'

Jungkook looked up, his stomach did a turn at the smiling face of Jimin.

'That thing should be illegal,' he thought. Actually all of Jimin should be illegal. How the hell had he not dated walking around in public looking like that?'

Jimin slid into the room, his typical way of coming and going without a sound and moving with the grace of a cat. Jungkook just shook his head. There was no way a human should be that elegant naturally.

Jungkook: 'Do you want to eat here or at the table?'

Jimin: 'Ummm...here.'

Jungkook: 'kk. Oh! You haven't eaten already have you?'

Jungkook was in the process of filling the bowls and paused, the spoon filled with the savory hot soup.

Jimin: 'No I haven't. Ummm...thanks. You didn't have to.'

Jungkook smiled and continued what he was doing. He was happy that the food would be eaten by Jimin. He was looking forward to seeing Jimin's smile when he tasted it. Jimin leaned on the Island, his top slightly loose hung open and Jungkook suddenly felt uncomfortable. He noted that Jimin had the bracelet on and joy swept through his chest. He would wait to hear Jimin's thoughts but obviously he liked it if he was wearing it. Jungkook was proud of his selection.

Jungkook was happy to cook: 'That's cool. I took a couple of days off and then realized I get bored after an hour without work. It's sad.'

Jimin grinned and nodded. He would have been the same way.

Jungkook: 'Can you serve the rice?'

He pointed to the cooker. Jimin nodded and went to scoop out the rice as he was told. He smiled to himself at how he didn't even flinch at following orders from Jungkook. He had to admit though, that soup smelled delicious.

They ate, talking about the day and where they might want to go for the honeymoon. Both had Spain high up on their bucket list of places to travel, so they spent the evening looking at places to go and things to see there. It was relaxing and comfortable to be around each other.
