It was silent between us; I looking at Merle with tear filled eyes and him not even able to look me in the eye. After all these years, this motherfucker decides now to do this?

"Merle," I say walking closer,"Merle, Ya had ya chance."

"I know."

"Ya broke it off."

"I know." His voice is cracking and getting louder.

"An' ya choose Now ta do this?"

"I know," He yells,"Goddamn it Willow, I love ya crazy beautiful ass an' I wan' ya--"

"Stop Merle." He froze looking at me almost begging.

"Will—"

"No."

I look to the ground not wanting to look at him. I never thought time would freeze but it did. Like when we were kids and had been together for years. He cheated on my with trash and I am worth more then that.

It doesn't hurt any less.

"Ya made yer choice the night ya slept wit' Mersadies. I made mine when I left." I say looking up.

Merle looks mad. Then he sighs running a hand over his head,"I love ya Willow that will never change," He says sounding defeated he walks to me and wraps an arm around me,"but I'll respect ya decision."

I return his half hug releasing him letting him walk away from me. I stare after him for a moment before making my way to the tents. I stoped when a stick snapped behind me. I turned seeing a very upset looking Dixon brother.

"Dare—"

"He cheated?" He snarls.

I was silent before walking over to the Man. He was stiff I could see it but I calmly wrap an arm around him.

"Ya brother made a lotta mistakes. It's in the pass brother don' let it effect anythin' now." I say making him walk with me to our family's spot in the camp.

"Hey Ally." Carl says making me look over at him from the puppy.

"What Carl?"

"Me and Sophia were wondering..."

I roll my eyes looking at the two other kids impatiently. They looked between one another before asking,"Should we tell them about the walkers?"

I look down at the puppy petting it. We had found the puppy when it's mommy was being eaten by walkers. I wanted to save her but Carl said they would kill me too. We ran away before if got to nasty.

"I think we should, but I was more worried 'bout Phoenix." I say looking at the pup.

"This is more important though," Carl says earning a jab from Sophia.

"The puppy was dying Carl."

I roll my eyes and snapped back,"Well then wha's stoppin' ya from tellin' ya daddy, Carl?"

Carl blinks for a second before getting an upset look on his face,"I was waiting to make sure you're okay with it since they might take Phoenix!"

"Please calm down.." Sophia mutters looking scared.

I shake my head standing," We won' let 'em."
