the next day..

rosé just came out from her room and was about to leave since her shift already ended. she even promised to mark that they will go and do her check up today.

suddenly she heard muffled voices coming from distance. she assumed it was the patient's family members with the doctor talking, but the familiar voice immediately caught her attention.

".. the patient's life might doesn't matter to you but it matter to someone else who knows how to appreciate people. screw the hospital rules because I never follow that nonsense and illogical rules. for your information, if you're working in my team there's no such rules" she faintly heard the familiar voice spoke as she head over the direction where the voice came from.

rosé stopped behind the wall when she saw mark's back figure. he was facing two men in front of him, they're probably from his team. the unfamiliar face looks terrified while another one just chill.

the man with terrified expression lowered his head,, "I'm-- I'm so sorry dr tuan, I will take note about that and I will make sure it won't happen again. thank you for enlighten me" he apologized

' he must be a new member' rosé thought to herself after she remembered that one of mark's team was transferred to another hospital, so a new member joined his team.

"why did you apologized to me? apologized to the patient's family"

"I will do so, dr tuan" the man simply said before he excused his self, leaving mark with the other man "I'm sorry about what happened. I will guide him better after this so he will get more used in our team" the man that looks a bit much older than mark said to him.

mark weakly smiled at him and nodded his head. the man pat his shoulder then left the hallway, leaving mark alone. mark sat on the nearby chair and frustratedly rubbing his face.

he had no idea that rosé was approaching him until he felt someone running their hand in his soft raven hair. "what's wrong?"

mark rest his back against the chair and just look up to rosé with undescribable expression. "it doesn't matter for now, let's go and do the check up for you"

he told her while getting up from the seat and intertwined their fingers before they head to the lift.

both mark and rosé were already at the clinic now, rosé even go through a few check up by the female doctor and they were now waiting eagerly to know the result, even if they already knew what it could be.

the doctor smiled as she noticed their expression. "nothing to worry about, she's not pregnant and as you said, it might be caused by her work that's why she felt tired more often" the doctor said, referring to mark's explanation before about rosé health condition for the past few days.

mark just nodded his head at her statement.

"may I know, are you guys sexually active or not?" the doctor asked.

"yes, but recently not that active" mark answered straight forwardly. "I see.. if you didn't mean to start a family yet, so keep on taking the pills and every other possible option to prevent you from getting pregnant" the doctor said while looking at rosé.

rosé just could nodded her head as response.

"last but not least, take care of your health and have a good rest. I will give you a few medicines and vitamin to keep you energized" the doctor said while writing a few things on the paper before handing it to mark.
