the bus was still on highway the moment mark woke up from his nap. he felt a weight on his right shoulder, and there was rosé sleeping with her head on his shoulder.

he froze on spot, not wanting for her to wake up. a few minutes passed and the bus stopped at the rest stop, so mark wake her up.

"we're at the resting area now, do you want to use the restroom? or buy something to eat?" mark bombarded her with questions when she still rubbing her eyes.

rosé look at her watch then to the rest stop area through the window. she shook her head as response to mark's questions and proceed to sleep back.

mark want to offer her shoulder again, but jackson came. "hyung, let's go and buy some candy or cookies or anything to eat. I'm hungry now"

"it just 9 in the morning and you're already hungry?" mark asked and playfully rolled his eyes at him but he still stood up from his seat and followed jackson out of the bus.

6 hours passed in the blink of an eye. they finally arrived at the rural village. it's quite challenging since they need to walk into the forest with heavy bags, and in addition the path was muddy.

their arrival were welcomed by the villagers with warm-hearted. there's three big white tent built in the village, probably for the use of the doctors.

"welcome for the doctors from gangnam-gu hospital! we're pleased to see you guys here. I'm doctor hwang, the leader for this 2 weeks camp. so today, we'll have a lunch first and after that, it's time to know your group mates and we gonna start working and helping what in need" said the man in lab coat.

the doctors nodded their heads and some mumbled alright as answer. the man then lead them to the tent that served the lunch.

rosé sat with other doctors from another hospital, leaving mark with jackson. mark always secretly glances at rosé that was sitting opposite him from another table the whole lunch time.

doctor hwang came back after they finished the luch and distribute the doctors into groups.

rosé doesn't know if it's a fate or something else, but she ended up being in the same group with mark.

"hi workmate" mark greeted rosé as she sat beside him on the chair.

"hi"

and the day passed with them starting to do a check up and giving medical treatments over the villagers.

the sun was no more in sight. the blue sky was now replaced with a purplish one, and it's time for them to take a rest.

rosé went to pick up her bag from one of the tent while mark was still at another tent, talking with other doctors.

doctor hwang came in her direction with unfamiliar woman beside him. "doctor rosé, this is mrs. kim, and you'll live with her for the rest of this camp" he explained.

"really? thank you"

rosé smiled and shook hand with the woman. she then followed her to her house near their camp site.

"you have a nice name doctor, even your face is so pretty " mrs kim complimented her.

"thank you ahjumma" rosé shyly thanked the old woman.

"I'm sorry, we only live in a small house"

"that's okay ahjumma, I'm glad that you're willing to let me stay here"
