"good afternoon doctor rosé" jackson greeted. they're currently just finished the lunch and was about to continue their work.

"good afternoon doctor wang. how's your day?" she asked.

"I'm teamed up with a gorgeous one like doctor irene, how could my day is not good, right?" jackson answered her and chuckled afterwards.

"I hope mark doesn't harsh anything on you. he might seems to be cold enough, but he's truly a nice person. he's the one that really dedicated in his work, so just follow his flow" jackson said out of the blue.

rosé only able to nod her head at his statement. "thank you for the reminder doctor wang, I really appreciate it. please educate me if I ever did something wrong"

"it's a working time. go back to your place jackson" mark's sudden cold statement startled both of them.

"roger, doctor tuan" jackson playfully bow in respect and left their area. rosé gave mark an awkward smile then proceeded to do her tasks.

the day passed by quickly more than they expect and now rosé was ready to leave the site since the day was getting darker.

she doesn't want to be late to take a shower at the river. luckily last night she tag along with a few of other villagers and doctors to shower there.

"hey, doctor rosé" someone approached her. it's doctor hong from sangnam hospital that came to their hospital a week ago. an expert doctor in orthopedic.

rosé stopped at her track and faced him. she bow as respect and he did the same.

"oh hi.. doctor hong, right?"

joshua nodded his head with a smile plastered on his face.

"sorry, this is random.. but I was talking to doctor wang just now, and he said that you came from australia" joshua said, gesturing to jackson that was talking to irene and wendy a few tables away from them.

"yeah that's right"

"no wonder you have that aussie accent. by the way, I'm from los angeles"

rosé tried her hard to control her unpleasant expression, why would he bother to tell her where he came from?

she doesn't want to sound rude so she just go along with his conversation despite she's also afraid that she had to go to the river all alone later.

"oh that's why I see the american vibe in you" rosé joked, and joshua started to get excited. from that moment she knew she screwed up.

"I used to be transferred to the alfred melbourne hospital before I moved here. how about you?" joshua continued to open a conversation.

"really? wow this world is so small isn't it? cause I exactly used to work there. I did my intern at alfred"

"that's fantastic! what an unexpected thing I've discovered today"

and their conversation continued for a few more minutes before rosé excuse herself. both of them were not aware that someone was watching from far.

the sky was completely pitch black the moment their conversation ended. rosé cursed herself for not ending it any sooner.

she's currently back to her shared room with mark now. she kept looking through the window, hopping that she'll see someone to tag along to the river. but there's no sight of anyone.

mark that was sitting on the floor just eyeing her actions. he's now in new clothes and looking fresh from all of those sweats since he already took a shower.
