⇢ [Chapter 7: Clothes] ˎˊ˗ ꒰

"Where did it go.." I mumbled, my back pressed against the headboard of the bed, with both my arms crossed. I gazed at the ceiling, pondering. Some of my clothes went missing too. Five pairs of underwear, three shirts, and two pairs of shorts. I tried thinking back on where I could have placed them, but I just can't seem to remember. I sighed, fixing my body position wherein my back is now pressed against the bedsheets.

I closed my eyes, deciding to go shop for clothes by the next day. I kept my eyes shut for minutes until I can finally be able to sleep, unaware of a person hiding under my bed.

The light of the sun hit my eyelids, causing them to open wide. I get up, remembering my plans for today. I grabbed my phone from my bedside table and opened it. I squinted my eyes a bit from the brightness of my phone until I was able to read.

"Saturday, August 7, 2021."

"7:32 am" It reads.

I stood up from my bed and looked around the room noticing it's colder. My eyes widened and my eyebrows slightly furrowed when I saw my window left open. "Uhm- when did I..?" I looked at the window, confused. I tried remembering when I left it open, but I can't.

"Maybe I forgot to close it," I thought, walking over to the open window and closed it. I scratched my right thigh and went to my bed again, letting out a small yawn. I sluggishly placed my body down on it, still feeling tired.

Grabbing my phone once again, I opened Instagram and scrolled down. I lowered the brightness of my phone since it has been hurting my eyes. "So many pretty models," I mumbled, scrolling and liking posts. I looked at the time again and saw that it's now 9:00 am. I placed my phone on the bedside table again and stood up, now beginning to arrange my bed.

Once I find my bed arranged properly, I move towards my wardrobe grabbing some casual clothes, and my towel too. I directly headed out from the bedroom to the bathroom after preparing my clothes and towel, not forgetting to close the bathroom door.

I placed my clothes on the bathroom counter beside the sink and began to remove my clothes until I am left bare. My gaze stuck on the figure in the mirror. I looked at my body, my chest, and my stomach. I sighed, looking away.

I stepped inside the glass shower and turned on the water. The water trickled down my body as I scrubbed it with soap.

Once done, I head towards the sink again to brush my teeth. My eyes widened in shock. What is going on? My toothbrush is nowhere to be seen. First, my clothes, next, an open window, and now my toothbrush. It went missing. I'm now thinking that this isn't because I forgot to place things somewhere else, this is probably because someone must have gone inside my house without consent.

And it's making me freak out.

I opened some drawers in the bathroom, searching for a spare toothbrush until I finally found one. The toothbrush's handle is transparent. This was probably given from hotels my parents have gone to. I removed the toothbrush from the plastic and added some toothpaste to the bristles.

"I'll be going to the mall, bye!" I waved at my mother, now stepping out of the house. I honestly don't have any courage to tell my mother about it because I don't want her to be worried, and I am still unsure of the cause of it all. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and looked at the time.

12:12 pm.

The malls here usually opens at 9 am, but going there at twelve is fine, considering there would be fewer people.

"Oiii! [Y/N]!" A voice called out. I recognized the voice and I turned my body around. "Ian?" I recognized the familiar red-eyed male, with the signature scar on his nose and one on his right eye. Sometimes I question where he get those but I think I might be asking something too personal, so I decided to leave it alone.

"Where are you goin'?" Ian asked once he reached me, his figure still towering over mine, giving me a full view of what he is wearing. He wore a black turtle neck, with an unbuttoned gray-colored flannel, some black skinny jeans, and some black leather boots. I'm now starting to think that Ian is a fashionista, and possibly an e-boy.

"The mall. I need to buy some clothes," I replied, avoiding his gaze. His eyes scanned me from head to toe. "Mind if I go with you?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck.

"...sure." I hesitatingly answered.

We both finally reached the mall and noticed that it's getting a bit more populated than I have expected. We entered inside, getting checked by guards in the process. The coldness inside the building greeted me, making me feel more comfortable since it was quite warm outside.

"So where we off to first?" The male beside me asked. "The clothes store or something, or maybe from the department store," I replied, making a bit more space between us since Ian was very close to me.

"She probably noticed the number of clothes that went missing huh.." Ian thought, taking glances at his beloved. He pulled on a small smirk, thinking of a big possibility that they're both going to a store to buy underwear for the female since he did steal five of them.

"Alright," He said, placing both his arms behind his head as he continues walking beside her, sneakingly moving more closer to her.
