⇢ [Chapter 20: Hangout] ˎˊ˗ ꒰
The bell for dismissal finally rang, signaling the end of classes for today. We all stood up from our chairs as we all bid goodbye to our teacher. I grabbed my backpack and slung it over my shoulder as I walked out of the door, following my other classmates.
"Y/N," Ian called out, placing his hand on my shoulder, making me come to a halt. "Yes?" I turned around, now facing him. He placed his hand back and dug both of his hands into his pockets. "Uhm, I need to talk to you about something," He scratched the back of his neck. "Let's talk about this privately." He said, looking around his surroundings: a crowd of people.
"Alright," I nodded my head. He walked, passing by different students, giving me the urge to follow him. The hallways were extremely crowded and noisy since the dismissal bell rung, with all students looking forward to this part of the day.
I let out a huff once both I and Ian finally exited the building. The wind touched my skin as I wiped the few beads of sweat falling down my forehead. "So...what?" I voiced out, looking at Ian with a brow raised.
"Go out with me on a date." He asked, or more like, demanded. I stood there dumbfounded, with my eyes widened. "What?" I must be hearing things wrong. "Go out with me. On a date." He emphasized the last three words of that sentence. My face began to feel hot.
This is mad embarrassing, and of course, nerve-racking. How exactly do I do this? This is my first time doing this! I opened my mouth and closed it immediately, unable to find any words to say. "I–I'll think about it," I stuttered, fiddling with my fingers, feeling shy all of a sudden.
Ian brought his head up. "Please do. I'm thinking about scheduling this date today or maybe on the weekends." He stated with his eyes filled with determination. "Mmm, maybe on the weekends? I'm pretty sure I'm not busy on Saturday afternoon." I replied, remembering that the manager told me I don't have any work shift this Saturday.
"So, it's a yes then?" Ian asked, moving closer to me. "I guess so," I answered, diverting my eyes to anywhere where he isn't seen. "Alright then! I'll be seeing you this Saturday at one pm, don't be late!" He playfully winked at me, walking away. I decided to follow him since we live in the same area.
"Holy Fuck–!" Ian cursed in his mind as he walked with pride, having small skips in his steps. He was fully unaware that the person he will be going on a date with this Saturday is behind him. He felt happy and hopeful. A bunch of ideas popping up in his head about where the date will be held.
A small giggle broke him out of his thoughts. The male lets out a small gasp as he looked behind him. "oh shit," He murmured, however, it was still audible to the female. [Y/N] then lets broke into a fit of laughs, finding his reaction funny in ways she couldn't describe.
"It's not funny–" The female still continued laughing, his reaction still displayed in her mind. Not only does the female want to laugh because of his reaction but also because she wanted to break the awkward tension within her. She finds all of this dating thing, a new and nerve-racking, experience, so why not just laugh it off?
"I'm sorry–alright! I'll stop," [Y/N]'s laughter slowly died out, she wipes her eyes, wiping away the tears that escaped during her fit of laughter. "Why're you here?" Ian asked, looking at her. "We live in the same area, we're neighbors." The female replied, looking at him with one eyebrow raised upwards. Did he forget? "Oh," He mumbled.
"So where will we be going for the date?" [Y/N] asked, catching up to him, trying to match his pace. "That will be a secret," He smirked down at her, as the female just huffed. "Okay then," She replied.

"Just dress casual." I pressed the icon to send the message. [Y/N] asked me what to wear to this date, but since I wanted her to be comfortable, It's best to dress casual. I smiled, thinking about what outfits she would wear, and what could possibly happen on our date.
I grabbed the attire that I prepared last night, which was hanged inside my wardrobe, which was also full of pictures of [Y/N], placed against the door of the black-colored wardrobe. the outfit consists of some black ripped jeans, a black turtleneck shirt with sleeves, a jacket with some designs over it, and a few necklaces. I hope I didn't dress too edgy or something, but I just wanted to be comfortable with [Y/N].
I looked at the time, 12:32 pm, it reads. I immediately walked out of my bedroom and walked down the large stairs. The heels of my black boots making noise against the material of the stairs. I stepped out of the house while I pulled out my phone.
I was about to dial my beloved's contact number but her figure already stood there near my doorway. "damn," I awed at her attire. It was casual but it surely did match my style. Heat began to rise within me, as a red-colored hue spread across my cheeks. She wore a white t-shirt tucked inside a black high waist plaid skirt, with a large unzipped oversized black jacket over the T-shirt, some black knee socks, and some black boots with it. Her [Y/H/C] colored hair was left un-tied. She also wears a necklace around her neck as an accessory.
"oh–! hello, uh, I wanted to make this date cool and stuff so I made my outfit matching with your fashion style," She beamed a smile, her white pearly teeth completely visible. Because of that, my whole face went red. I looked away, hoping I hide my face from her. I grabbed her hand, intertwining my fingers with hers. "L–let's just go."
