Ch. 14 "Be back"

                                               Autumn POV 

Everyone stared after T'Challa told them my story, 

"Well Autumn it's nice to meet you," Steve said holding out his hand, 

I sniffed his hand, Like Mommy normally would do, to see if someone was dangerous or not, 

"Autumn remember what we talked about, we don't sniff people," T'Challa said 

I Looked at him, 

"Remember what I showed you," He said smiling at me, 

So I took two of Steve's fingers and shook my hand, 

The Avengers looked past me at T'Challa and Shuri, 

"It's a working progress yet," Shuri said chuckling 

"Anyway, were are the others," T'Challa asked 

"Nat is on the ship with Clint the others are at the tower yet," Tony said 

"When can you leave?" Bucky asked, 

"Immediately," T'Challa said 

Wait what he's leaving, 

My eyes started darting all over the place, 

Why is he leaving, 

T'Challa looked down at me and smiled, 

"Do not worry, it won't be long," He said placing his hand on top of my head, 

"You know we wouldn't ask if it wasn't important, it's just your more experienced with this," Steve said 

T'Challa smiled and nodded, 

We watched as everyone loaded up and got on the jet, that's what Shuri calls it, 

I think T'Challa sensed my uneasiness, 

He kneeled in front of me, while I had my on hand on Shuri's leg,

"I will come back I promise, but can you do me a favor while I'm gone?" He said 

I nodded hesitantly 

"Take care of Shuri and my mother while I'm gone, and behave for Shuri for me okay little one," He said 

I nodded, 

He put his hand on top of my head ruffling my hair, 

"That's my little one," He said 

I hugged him before he got up, he hugged me back, kissing my forehead, 

"I will return I promise," He said cupping my cheeks, 

I nodded, 

With that he stood up and walked onto the jet, 

Just as he was about to enter he looked bak at us and waved, 

We waved back well I had to mimic from Shuri but I got the hang of it, 

"Come on Autumn," Shuri said smiling taking my hand, 

I took it and hesitantly walked back into the palace, 

He said he would be back, but why did I feel so sad, 

What is it that I am feeling, 

It was a feeling I always felt when mommy left the cave, and I don't like it one bit, I thought
