So... i just started riding new horses for English and Western.
Buckles is a chestnut 14.3h AQHA gelding. He's really sweet and super food motivated. He can't spin or sidepass super well, but he's got a nice stop and can collect and extend really well. He's got a nice build and knows how to do a lot. He's pretty new and has only been at the barn for a couple of moths, it's nice to have a good horse for once, instead of a pissy mare who does what she wants and never listens to anyone. Buckles is the master of untying himself and doing pretty much anything to get extra food, he also has the puppy eyes down to an art.
Weston is a 17.2h thoroughbred gelding who can be kind of crazy. He has what we call ¨ Weston Moments¨ where he hears a twig snap or sees a bird and takes off bucking and rearing. He's really playful and has mastered the art of unlocking gates and flinging random items around. He likes to either over jump or literally knock the entire thing over ( He once knocked over both of the standards, i honestly don't know how) His left lead is like a foreign object when were on the rail, but he can do perfect flying changes.
Both of these guys are pretty weird and i haven't been riding either of them for that long, but i already love them and i'm excited to see where they can take me and what we can do together.

My Riding Journal ( For Anyone Who Cares)
Non-FictionI got the idea to make a riding journal from @M_Equine, so make sure to check there's out as well if you haven't already. This book is basically just stories about things that have happened at the barn and my life as an equestrian.
