Raelle was still in medical, but the rest of us were in training. We had just stopped when Raelle had walked in. She looked like nothing had happened. Anger was clear on her face. She walked straight towards Abigail.

"Here we go again." I mumbled.

"Right." Tally sighed.

"Shouldn't you be in bed, cousin." Abigail hissed.

"I'm not your cousin." She bit.

"Aren't we all cousins, cousin." The dark haired girl crossed her arms and tilted her head. It was like she was built for sass.

"Well, I mean I'm no illustrious Bellweather." Raelle yelled.

"What's that supposed to mean." She took a few quick steps towards Raelle. Raelle swung on her with her whip. One hit after another. The Bellweather child dogded each one until they faced each other.

"DAUGHTER OF AMERCERA GREATNESS HERSELF!" Raells threw her hands out mockingly. Everyone watched the two battle in awe. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to step in and neither did Tally. The sergeant stood by watching, but doing nothing.

Abigail finally swung back, but she too missed. Raelle was the first to make a hit, straight to Abigail's face with the whip, and then again.

"Backbone of democracy?" She continued to mock Abigail, but she showed no emotion to it. I found it funny that she's the one who said I had anger issued. Look who's talkin'.

I finally decided it was time for me to step in, but when I tried, the Sergeant put her hand up motioning me to stop. What was she hoping to accomplish by this.

The two girls finally stood up straight again.

"Your mom was the CO on my mom's last tour." Raelle finally said.

"Your blaming my mom for that? Soldiers die all the time, that's the JOB." Abigail ran up to her and the two continued to fight back and forth.  One second Abigail had flipped Raelle over, but then it had reversed and Raelle was sitting on top on Abigail's chest.

"WAS SHE PUMMIS LIKE YOU!!" Raelle screamed in her face. Her voice sounded amplified, unhuman even. Like it was more than one  was voice screaming. It sent shivers crawling down my skin. Abigail punched her in the face and then grabbed her in a choke hold.

"WAS YOUR MOM A USELESS SHITBIRD LIKE YOU?" Abigail screamed, her voice reaching the same as Raelle's. I could feel an anxiety attack coming on and I wasn't sure what to do about it., I couldn't keep watching the two beat each other to death. The wind began to pick up and bolts of lighting formed here and there. Things began to blow around and I wasn't sure if it was me or them.

"Alright break it up, BREAK IT UP." Sargent said. Eventually the two did walk away. I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down. I felt a hand touch my shoulder and just like that I was fine again. I opened my eyes and realized it was Tally. Of course Tally's bubbly vibes could clear mine.

"Thanks." I smiled at her.

"Well just wait till you hear what I heard. While you went to go check on Raelle, Abigail was trying to get reassigned. The commander denied it though.

"Your joking right?" I asked.

"If only." She sighed.

"If anyone deserves to be reassigned right now, it's us." I whispered. She chuckled and nodded.

"Hey Tally?" I asked. I watched Raelle and Abigail storm out of the room and everyone else got back to work.

"What's up?"

"I need to admit something to you. I haven't told the others yet, and I'm not going to yet, but I found out I'm an empath." I saw her start to get excited until she saw my face.

"Is that not a good thing?" She asked me.

"It would be, if I could control it. I can't though. I'm always feeling everyone's emotion, and anytime anything happens I get flipped out. What's gonna happen when we are in battle and I get shot because I'm too busy crying about the random bitch I just killed huh?" She froze for a moment.

"I'm sorry Tally, I didn't mean it like that, it's just something I have to worry about now. I'm no use to you guys if I can't even control my emotions." I told her.

"I get it. If you want I could help, I know I know nothing about empathy, but I am a decent with my emotions if you'd like to practice on me." I smiled and nodded.

"Thanks Tal."

"Anytime." She grinned.
