There was an emergency council and all of the cadets were now sitting in chairs waiting for instructions. Raelle found us and sat down next to me right before a red headed lady started talking. She had a bright smile and soft passionate eyes. I immediately trusted her by her soft soothing voice.

"Good afternoon ladies. I'm lietenetant Sergeant and Junior Matrimonialist Berryessa Tansey" She told us. "This is the kickoff to Beltane. I chance to unwind and discover our shared history, I know the are trying times, but I'm here to tell you that the way to get through this is by rituals and working with the ones around you." After she spoke all the men ran past us without shirts.

"The official start of the festivities is Mead and Greet at memorial Hall. Where your encouraged to mingle with your male counterparties, getting to know as many as possible. You should know that the strength of Beltane lies in participation in whatever way you see fit.

"How's this for participation." Abigail said before taking her jacket off and walking straight toward the men who were playing lacross. Tally took off after her and then Raelle stood up laughing.

"You in on this?" She asked me, reaching a hand out to me. I giggled.

"Why not." I took her hand as we ran towards the others. We each grabbed a stick and chased after the ball. Some of the witches started to vocaolize, making it rain over us. We were all laughing and having fun, it felt nice. I looked over at Raelle to see how she was doing, just in time to see someone push her over. I ran over and reached a hand out to her. She grabbed it and I pulled her up.

"You okay?" I asked. She nodded. "What was that about?"

"I have no idea." She said before walking away. She was lying, I don't know how I know, but I know.

-TIME SKIP-

Tally was sitting crissed crossed in front of me.

"So, I did some reading, and the first step into controlling it is by confronting anything that's causing you emotional conflict. Anything that's making you question yourself or whatnot."

"Like what?" I asked.

"It could be a bad person in your life that your holding onto, a relationship your scared of leaving or going into, a family member who-"

"I get it." I closed my eyes and thought for a moment. "My dad's been causing me some shit, but I think it's cleared up now. I don't think I will be hearing from him anyways." I knew what the other one was, it was clear to me, I just didn't want to think about it.

"And a possible love interest." I mumbled. "BUT-, that is for me to know. Either way, I can't tell them. So I guess I just need to stop feeling it?"

"Woah, wait spill. Also, that's not healthy, or in any way interesting." Tally said.

"Tally, no. I'm serious. They have someone, even if that someone is a suspicious snake who's probably up to no good."

"Uhhhgg." She whined. "Hear me out, tell them on Beltane. If it doesn't work out, I'll fix it for you. You can trust me to do that, I fix Abigail and Raelle's issues all the time." She smiled. Maybe she was onto something, what's the worst that could happen?

"Okay." I said.

"Wait really?!"

"Yeah why not, just promise me you'll get me drunk first?"

"Maybe." Good enough for me.
