I finally decided it was time to call my dad. I highly doubted he had anything nice to say so I was worried, but I did it. It rung a few times, and just when I thought he wasn't going to pick up he did.

"Who is this?" He asked. His voice was groggy and I could tell he had just woken up. This was a bad idea... what do I say?

"D-dad?" I asked.

"Saturn? Saturn is that you?" He asked. Tears sprung to my eyes. He wasn't mad? He had kicked me out, that was the last time I saw him. He said he never wanted to see me again.

"Yeah Dad, it's me." I cried.

"Why are you calling me?" My heart stopped. Everything stopped. It was like time froze.

"I... I just wanted-"

"No, I told you. 'NO CONTACT', don't you know what that shit means you dumb ass." He hung up, leaving me more alone than ever. The worst part was, I didn't have anyone to cry to. So I didn't. I wiped my eyes and I nose, and stood up, and walked away. Letting any emotion I felt five seconds ago, leave my body.

-TIME SKIPE-

Since our unit was the top, ours and five others were aloud to walk off campus. For the most part we stayed together, wondering around the base. Once it got late there was a play of the witch trials. It was more realistic then I was expecting, but I had gotten bored of the story. I wondered out of the crowd and found a restaurant instead.

As I waited in line I heard a voice behind me.

"How's it feel to be followed?" Raelle asked. I rolled my eyes. "It's not so fun, huh?" She asked me.

"Why are you following me?" I asked.

"To irritate you." I sighed, trying not to let my emotions get in the way. The restaurant was already crowded and my dad had me feeling like shit still.

"Listen, I'll tell you what. Why don't you back slowly away from my shit, and I will back slowly away from your shit."

"Deal, now how about some pizza." I agreed, trying to change the topic.

"Fine." She smiled. I noticed her face change for a moment.

"Were you crying?" She asked. Shit, I must have smeared some of my mascara. "Was the play that tragic space girl." She laughed.

"Yeah sure." I said before turning to take a few steps in the line.

"No seriously, what's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing, just allergies." I lied before grabbing a slice of pizza. Raelle did the same and we walked out. It was a pizza diner, and a good one too.

"Come on Space girl, lay it out. I have heard Tally get mad already, but all you did was stab my hand because of an instinct." We walked on the side walk eating our pizza now.

"I called my dad today." I told her. I had already told her about the things he's done, she's the only one to know.

"And?"

"At first I thought it was fine. He asked if it was me and I said yeah. Then he asked me why I called him. And finally he blew up because I should have known better then to call." I told her.

"Can I be honest?" She asked me. I nodded, wanting her honest opinion.

"You shouldn't count too much on people that never counted on you. Your only wasting your energy." Damn, I couldn't really argue with that.

"Thanks  Rae." I smiled. "So, your not still mad are you?" I asked.

"Nah, I could never stay mad at you for long, I don't know anyone that could." She laughed.

"I know quite a few." I chuckled.
