They arrived at Marty's house at 2:15. Marty's house was a light blue house with a red door. The neighborhood was silent. Stewart drove up the driveway. The SUV sputtered and grinded while going up the gentle incline. Stewart parked the car.

" Uh oh," Stewart said," I don't think we're going to be driving anymore. We should just be lucky it even started after hitting the fat guy. Damn it, I paid good money for this car."

" The way things are going, money not worth shit," Jasmine said.

" Well we're at my house so I guess we're safe, at least for now," Marty said.

" Go in the house, I need to get a few things," Stewart said back.

Stewart went to the trunk of of his SUV and grabbed his digital camera. He put it around his next. He was about to close the trunk door when he got a idea. He left the trunk door open and opened the other 4 doors. He then went inside. The living room had sandy color carpet and had a floral wallpaper. The couch was a dark forest green. It started on the left wall and continued along the back wall. A computer desk was in the right back corner. A silver color stone fireplace was on the right wall. A wide-screen tv was sitting at the front of the room.

" Why did you do that," Jasmine asked.

" So it looks like it's been raided, hopefully that will throw people off."

After hearing the answer, Jasmine sat on the couch. She turned on the tv and flipped to WSS News. Stewart sat on the couch next to Jasmine and Marty shut the shades and then sat acrossed from them. The tv showed Amble Dare. She was wearing a double button blue coat with black dress slacks. She was a slender, white women with straight blond hair and bright green eyes.

" Hi, this is Amble Dare with WSS News. I'm here live at the Wallyton community hospital. I'm accompanied by the head of CEDA's research, Mark Davis. Mr. Davis, any comments on the rumor that the Green Flu can mutate people into rage induced monsters dubbed, "special infected"?"

Mark Davis was a older man in his early 60's. He was wearing a super white lab coat. He cleared his throat.

" Ms. Dare, if there was any mutation we would have made numerous reports and logs. That's all those preposterous stories are, just rumors."

" Then how do you explain these pictures."

Amble Dare took 3 pictures out of her coat pocket. She unfolded them. The first picture showed a women in a floral dress. Her neck was elongated to a horrific length. Her dress had burn holes, showing burnt flesh underneath. Her mouth was completely burned away. It dripped with a bright green-yellow liquid. The next picture showed a door with a large hole in it. Breaking through was a man wearing a basketball jersey. He had a bubbled face. His skin was a greenish color. From his face to his left hand was covered in tumor like boils. His tongue hung from his mouth to his waist.

" These pictures were sent in by viewers who lived near the Westfield quarantine." she said her voice colder than before, "they were sent in at the time of the breech. This one's said to spit acid, this one ensnares you with it's rope like tongue. And don't even get me started about this one."

" That's enough Ms. Dare," Mark Davis said as he started to shoo Amble Dare out of the waiting room," Like I said, if there was a mutation, you would have been the first one notified. Now, I'm going to need you to leave. You're scaring the patients."

" They should be scared."

Amble Dare left the hospital and set up on the street.

" Well there you have it. Is CEDA keeping information away from the public? Is the Green Flu mutating? Are we in more danger than we think? This is Amble Dare with-"

" Is that thing on," a voice interrupted.

The camera panned to a man in a military suit. His face had blocky macho-man features. He looked harden, possibly the effect of war.

" Yes it is, why? Who are you?"

" I'm General Green with the United States Security and Defense. We advise that everyone report to this hospital. It is now an evacuation center. If you can not reach this evacuation center than leave the city. Do not stay in the city. That is all."

The three turned to each other.

" That researcher was full of crap and he knows it," Marty said.

" He denied it because he doesn't want mass hysteria to break out," Jasmine said.

" Keeping vital information away from the public that could save lives isn't the right thing to do. CEDA's the real reason people are dying," Marty said back, a hint of unseen anger in his voice. " Sorry. I'm just angry that CEDA is lying. We've seen these special infected and then we get lied to."

Stewart and Jasmine nodded their heads understandingly.

" With all that firepower, the hospital evac looks like a good way to get out of this mess," Jasmine said.

" It's probably teeming with infected," Stewart answered.

"Then what do we do," Marty asked.

Stewart looked at him.

" We survive."
