"It wasn't my entire fault..." Kelsey had woken me up by whispering to herself again. Except for this time, it seemed as if she was talking to her past self. "This is karma isn't it?"

"Kels?" I saw her figure in the dark turn towards me, "Who are you talking to?"

"I-I dunno..." she sounded uncertain about what had just happened as if she was hallucinating. I then heard Lukas and Bryson's voices from the hallway.

"What time is it?" Lukas asked Bryson.

"8:36. Do they need to be fed right now? I could do it."

"Kev would be pissed if you fed his girls, so just feed yours," I heard Lukas say before Bryson calmly opened the wooden door. He had a can of corn this time in his left hand.

"This is the last can of corn girls, so you're going to have to share..." Bryson told Taylor and I. The corn was straight out of the can, and we both had to use styrofoam bowls to basically drink the corn. Bryson was in the room waiting for Taylor and me to finish when Lukas appeared in the doorway.

"Hey, could you help me shovel the driveway before Kevin gets back?" he asked as Bryson picked up our bowls. After those words left Lukas' mouth, I realized that snow had fallen onto the ground, and we were still trapped there.

"Uh, yeah sure, give me a second," responded Bryson as he left the room, with Lukas following behind. Fortunately, they left the door open to where I could see out the window across the hall. Through the window, all I could see was a bright layer of white.

"How long have we been here for...?" Kelsey whispered, not knowing if any of the guys were around.

"At least a month probably... maybe more. I mean, it's snowing out so it has to be close to December." Little did I know, it was December 1st.

"What if we never get out of here...?" Chloe questioned, "Or... or, what if one night, we go to sleep... and one of us doesn't wake up...?" Her curiosities ignited concern in both Taylor and me.

"Don't say that Chloe..." Taylor whispered breathlessly.

"Well, what else do you want me to say, Taylor? All the kids at school and our parents know is that we're gone. No one knows if they'll ever see any of us again." We all felt Chloe's pain. The type of pain that you couldn't fix, and the kind that felt like you had all sorts of weight weighing you down.

"I'm smelling fire again..." Kelsey warned us. We all knew she was once again hallucinating.

"Kels, you're hallucinating," I told her concernedly. The room door opened calmly showing Lukas' figure.

"Okay, here's your food: green beans. I don't care if Kevin gets pissed right now, I have more important things to deal with," Lukas stated out of breath, setting the opened can of green beans between Chloe and Kelsey. He darted out of the room, leaving the door cracked open.

"I wonder what's going on?" I wondered to myself out loud as I heard Kelsey and Chloe munching down on green beans just feet away from me.

We all heard the screen door slam shut and Kevin gasping for air.

"Whoa, what's wrong with you Kev-?" I heard Bryson ask before he oh-so-rudely, was interrupted.

"Get...out of...my way...Bryson!" Kevin grunted, trying to catch his breath, "Lukas! I saw them," He gulped, "Down the street! They're coming this way!"

"Who is?" Bryson questioned, sounding extremely confused with Kevin.

"The police Bryson. They've been questioning everyone around town. Thankfully Justin left this morning for his twenty-first birthday in Tennessee."
