Procrastinating like a queen rn-

A peaceful night, the moon was brighter than usual. With the sound of passing cars diminishing, you blankly walked past the lamp posts, catching a glimpse of your shadow.

"The moon's feeling it tonight." your footsteps were silent. You were busy admiring the scenery, not preparing for the unexpected encounter.

You stopped walking, they haven't noticed you yet, but they will in a moment. You took a deep breath, you'll be fine.

Just don't look at him.

"Shota-san?" you tried to acted like you didn't already see him from a mile away. You bobbed your head, greeting the both of them.

"(y/n), you're out late." he looked different than usual, he was wearing a much more formal attire and his hair was tied up. Who knew he could look decent for once?

You shrugged, "It's not that late, I was hanging out with a friend."

"Don't stay out too late," he warned with a nonchalant expression. You caught a peek of him covering his chuckle beside Aizawa, quickly ceasing it with a cough.

You fumbled with your fingers, everyone probably knew who the skinny man is now after the big fight. All Might, The pro hero who was and will be everyone's number one hero. You knew his identity a long time ago, but seeing him in this state made you feel...

You jokingly saluted him, "Yes, sir-!" Which he responded with a sigh. "So, what brings you here?" You asked, knowing that he probably visited your parents.

"We're informing your parents about the new dorm system, I'm sure they'll bring it up later." He answered, your brows raised at the reply.

"We're having dorms? The whole school?" If your memory was still functioning, the school didn't have a dorm for students. Was the school planning to build an entire building for the students just like that? Just where do they get the funding for it?

He nodded, "Yes, it's to ensure the student's safely after encountering various villain attacks." He explained. "Especially after the last incident." You looked away, feeling the glare coming straight from Aizawa.

He didn't hesitate to give you a heavy bonk on the head, "Don't think that I didn't know you joined Midoriya and the others just because you were hiding." He scolded you.

"I mean, did you really think I wouldn't do anything about it?"

"...just, don't be so reckless next time."

Aizawa sighed, eventually ending his scolding as he hurried you to return home, but not before warning you a final time about going home late.

"You really care about your students, don't you?" Toshinori said, going towards the car.

"...I don't." He interjected. "You were silent the whole time, didn't seem like something you would do." The tired man loosened his tie.

He paused for a while before opening the door, "I'm not sure as well, she was acting a bit weird when she saw me." he stood there. "It was almost as if..." He muttered under his breath.

"As if what?"

"As if...she was guilty to see me."

"I'm home."

"(y/n)-! Some of your teachers came, one even knew your father." Your mother greeted you at the door.

You hummed, "Yeah, I saw them on the way home. So, are you and dad okay with me moving to the dorms?"

"Of course, kid." Your father chimed in out of nowhere. "We have no reason to protest about it." he ruffled your already messy hair.

"But we'll definitely miss the grumpy you waking up every morning."

You glared at him, "I'm not grumpy, just...tired." the chirping in the background distracted you. "Can I bring him with me?" petting the bird through the big cage.

"I don't think that's a good idea...we don't want to disturb the whole dorm, do we now?"

You groaned, hearing your father's opinion. "I don't care, they'll get used to it sooner or later." you insisted on taking him with you.

The looks on your parents eventually led you to give up the idea of terrorizing your classmates. "Fine, take good care of him." it hadn't hit you how attached you've become with the bird until now.

Words of reassurance about Birdie still circling behind you as you went to your room. You plopped down face first onto the bed, the sheets covered your muffled sighs.

Being a hero really isn't a walk in the park, you heaved a sigh once again. If only those stupid villains didn't bother you, then your life would be just a tad bit easier.

You tried to not think about it too much, so another topic started to creep inside.

"I wonder if the weird dude is still there...? Surely not...right?" even though it was a short fight, sometimes that encounter still would pop up from time to time.

It's not every day you bump into guy whose skills could rival your father's.

You shrugged, with the amount of chaos happening in the past few months, it doesn't really faze you anymore. Might as well get used to it.

Who knows what's to come in the future.

Ring-

Your hand reaching for the phone habitually as a familiar ringtone made the screen light up.

Ear against it, your laid back demeanor disappeared like the wind as you listened in. Your stance now like an animal on alert, "Where are you right now? " you calmly speak up as you rushed downstairs.

A quick "I'm off." to inform your parents. Your pace from a nice walk to a running competition, you tried to make your words sound clear as you catch your breath.

"Wait for me, I'll be there right away. Don't you dare hang up the phone."
