"You better have a good reason for disappearing like that-!" Sakura huffed, crossing her arms at the girl.
You sighed, "Give her a break, she was just harassed by some assholes." Sitting beside Yukina.
You guys decided to go to another random café to settle down, it was better than staying in the dark creepy alleyway.
"It's fine, I do feel guilty for leaving so suddenly..." she muttered.
"Well, our ears are wide open."

You and Sakura scooted closer to the girl, wanting to hear the full story. It's almost been 5 years since her abrupt departure, she didn't inform the two of you beforehand, not even a farewell letter. You were quite curious about why she left in such a hurry.
"My parents they decided to...move to another area far away from here, I didn't know until the last minute so I couldn't even say goodbye..." she explained.
"What?! Those bastards? You're still living with them?" Sakura raised her voice.
You couldn't really blame her anger, Yukina's parents weren't the most ideal parents, they would always take their frustration and anger out on her. It's not like they beat Yukina or starved her, no...
It was worse.
They would make harsh comments and yell at her at the smallest things. They weren't even her real parents, maybe that's why they would have the heart to verbally abuse the poor girl.
"No...I haven't contacted them for a while, I'm currently living by myself." She added, waving her hands as she calmed Sakura down.
"That's a relief, so you moved back here-? Which school are you in?" you asked.
Yukina hummed, "I'm in Ketsubutsu Academy high."
"Ketsubutsu-? It's a well-known school, I'm glad for you! You're still aiming to become a detective right?" Sakura exclaimed, looking at her expectantly.
"...yeah."
"That's great! Well, I'm gonna go choose some desserts for us!" She got up, going to the front counter where the desserts were displayed.
"And there she goes- but I'm really happy that you're back Yuki, everything seems so dull without you." you chuckled.
She blushed, "R-really-? I'm happy too...Hi-chan's still energetic as always." Glancing at Sakura.
"Yeah, but you're still calling her that-? She's gonna go crazy if she hears it." You sweatdropped, Yukina giggled in response.
"It suits her, plus, I'm just going to call her that when she's not around." She added.
