"How did it go yesterday with the villains?" Rin asked as you patrolled around the place, the streets were rather peaceful.
"It was tough. but we managed to successfully defeat both Nomus as they called." He casually replied.
"The hero killer was even captured by Endeavor." He added.
Rin raised a brow at his remark, "Endeavor-? But I thought...
You pulled him back by the sleeve, signaling not to accidentally blurt what you two were doing at the time. He nodded, whispering a light 'sorry' to you.
He went beside you, "Hey, I thought they were the ones who beat him?" he said, walking behind Edgeshot, making sure he wouldn't overhear your conversation.
You hummed, "It is kinda weird that they would hide that fact, but I'm sure that it was for the greater good..." you concluded. But to give credit to Endeavor of all heroes kinda pissed you off, can't they give it to someone better? Like for instant Edgeshot, he definitely deserved it more than the asshole.
Hah, it's sad to think that Bipolar boi and the others didn't get any credit for the fight at all, they did almost die because of it...
Inspecting the area, people were laughing and talking as they passed by you. It felt sort of uncanny to feel such a peaceful atmosphere after what happened yesterday. But you couldn't ask for more.

A voice called out, you felt someone pulling your clothes. You turned around, curious to who it was, judging by the voice, it sounded like a child.
You let out a gasp as you saw a familiar girl sobbing, looking at you with tears dripping down her cheeks. "Aika-chan-?!" you bend down, face softened as you gently wiped her tears away.
"What's wrong-?" You calmly asked her. Rin peeked over you, surprised to see a small child crying.
She sniffed, "I-I got lost..." hiccuping between her words. You smiled softly at her, glad she wasn't hurt or anything.
Rin went closer to the girl, also bending down, "Do you know where your mom-
You nudged him aggressively, earning a grunt from him, "What-?" he glanced at you. You shushed him, looking over to Aika, hoping she didn't hear anything.
"Don't mention her mom, she's..." you looked away, "Not here anymore..." you whispered. The boy flinched, immediately apologizing to you,
"I'm so sorry-!"
You shook your head, "It's alright, you didn't know." You turned to Aika, smiling at her, "Don't worry, I'll help find your dad, so don't cry anymore, okay?" patting her head.
