♧Chapter 48♧ // Extra Training //

Ye boy back at it again with another chapter-

"Um, remind me what am I doing here again?"

You huffed upon hearing his unenthusiastic voice, "Can't you be a little excited? As I said last time, we're sparring." you said, standing up as you looked at Shinsou standing awkwardly in your backyard. 

"When did I agree to this?" he said, stretching around to look a bit less stiff.

"Well...I don't remember but you still came, so let's not talk about that." brushing it off as you started to warm up as well.

He sighed, glancing at you as he continued his stretch. He was surprised when you suddenly told him to meet at your place to fight. Though he wanted to seem nonchalant about the whole fight, the poor boy was panicking on the inside. He didn't think you would ask so early, he wasn't prepared at all. 

"But are you sure that I can use this?" he asked, holding the scarf around his neck. 

You nodded, "Why not? You look cool in it. Plus, I have my own weapon too." you patted the hostler containing the knife.

Is that the same scarf Shota-san uses? Damn they look almost identical now-

"So...how are we gonna do this?" he asked, still looking a bit awkward.

You chuckled in response, "Relax for a bit, this is just a casual fight. Think of it like fighting with Shota-san during your training." you said.

"...yeah."

"Okay then, but lemme just give you a heads up." you added, pulling out the knife as you pointed at him.

"I'm not gonna go easy on you."

Dashing towards him, you slashed your knife at him, not directly at him though, you don't think you have the guts to do that to him. Just close enough to make him dodge. He jumped back just like you thought, grabbing onto his scarf, he shot it towards you. You of course evaded it with ease, the fights with Aizawa were paying off.

"Not bad, gotta work on your aim though." you said, sprinting towards him again with the knife. 

He dodged your attack, "Cut me some slack, he taught me this just a while ago." the cloth aiming towards you again. You stared at it, 

He's a bit off again, maybe I should-

Badump-

You winced slightly, the pain causing you to halt your movement, letting the scarf wrapped around your arm. Immediately improvising, you ran towards him with the scarf still around your arm. 

Shinsou backed away, trying to pull onto the scarf but couldn't because of the distance between you two. You slashed at him again, he moved away from it. But before he could do that, you grabbed onto the scarf and pulled it at the right distance, starling him as his body inched closer to you.

Quickly apprehending him, you pinned him on the ground, earning a grunt from the boy.

"That was nice, you managed to capture me. Though it didn't go as planned huh?" you panted, he was good considering he just started training.

"So you win huh?" he asked.

You hummed, "I gue-" cutting off your words, you quickly realized what he was trying to do. But it was too late, you already responded to his question. You cursed internally, looking at his smirk.

God dammit, I knew he was gonna do this at some point-

"I guess I win this round." he said smugly as you released him, standing back up with blank eyes.
