Not even a glimpse is needed. I can imagine Hyera's perplexed expression. I glance at Minhyuk, he looks at me and we grin.
"That felt... awesome." I say a big smile on my face. "You don't even know how satisfying that was."

"I can imagine, even I felt satisfied."
Minhyuk raises his arm, stopping a cab. "Let's get to Starship, shall we?"

I nod in response. "We shall."

I never really liked the look of the tall building in front of me, not as a trainee, not as an idol.
While being the opportunity to my dream, it was home to fear and stress at the same time. Well the word 'home' might not be quite fitting.

"Aren't you coming?" Minhyuk turns around giving me a reassuring look "Don't worry, I'm with you. If they say anything I'll make them regret being born."

A smile appears on my face and I hurry to Minhyuk "I know."

As we're on our way upstairs, a staff tells us that manager Jinsoo and the CEO expect us in one of the meeting rooms.

"Hyejin-ah!" I hear someone calling for me

"Cho Hee unnie!" A wave my hand happily.

"Are you okay? I heard what happened." Her voice full of worry she embraces me. "I'm so glad that guy got arrested."

I nod awkwardly, I wasn't expecting her to know about the incident. "Unnie, don't get me wrong but how'd you know about all of this?"

For a moment she looks surprised, then her gaze softens "Don't worry, I'm the only one aside from the CEO and you manager knowing about this." She smiles warmly "I got to know it by coincidence, when Jinsoo ssi was talkinng to the police on her phone."

I sigh in relief, I don't want everyone to know about this . In the end they'd just pity me and somehow it'd come out to the general public.

"I heard your mother came as well. Have you talked to her." She asks

"Yeah.. I have."I look on the floor.

Minhyuk clears his throat "I'm sure it was the last time we've seen her. Just like that bastard of a husband that she has and still somehow protects."

"What?! Are you seriously telling me she was on her husband's side." Cho Hee's voice is full of rage. "I can't believe these people. Kim Youngchul is such a manipulative bastard. He even convinced you mother that of his innocence."

"I guess Hyera was ready to believe anything he'd say." I shrug

"Talking about it makes me so angry" Minhyuk groans.

"And then he had the audacity to call you to a hotel? Tch that sicko. He even used Wonho as a bait, to get you to come. I could seriously punch his face and squish his head with two of my fingers."Cho Hee spits out threats and insults, all while looking like an enraged little devil.

But something is bothering me, maybe the fact that I don't want to talk about the same person anymore? Or maybe the fact that other people know about my personal life?

"We should go now, tho." Minhyuk's says looking at his watch "We still have to meet the CEO."

I nod, still lost in my thoughts. What is it that's bothering me so much? Something that Cho Hee said?

"Oh my, I'm so sorry that I held you two back. I also have places to be." She waves us goodbye and walks off. Similarly, Minhyuk and I head into the other direction, to the meeting room.

"I feel like something she said threw me off." I say, not really meaning it to be loud but rather a thought spoken out loud.

"I think I know." Minhyuk's furrows his eyebrows.

"Huh, really?"

"What did she mean when she said 'using Wonho as a bait'?"

Then it hits me.

The only detail I kept to myself.

I haven't told anyone about it, not even the police knows.
The moment I heard Youngchul say that he found out things about Wonho's past, things that could apparently have a negative impact on his life, I knew I had to keep it to myself.

How would Cho Hee know about it?

Unless.

Unless, she has some sort of connection to Youngchul

or worse

She was the one giving him the information.

"Hyung." I grab Minhyuk's arm as my head starts spinning.

"Hyejin-ah!"

"Just give me a second." I say taking deep breaths.

"What's wrong?"

I raise my upper body "We have to talk to the CEO. I think... I think Cho Hee has a connection to Youngchul."

"What?"

After knocking once we're instantly called in. Seems like they've been waiting for us.

"Hello sajangnim." We bow coming into the room.

"Ah, hello Hyejin ssi, Minhyuk ssi." Kim Si Dae greets us back, so does our manager by standing up and giving us a mad. "Please sit down."

I shift my feet before taking a seat on one of the chairs, Minhyuk taking the one next to me.

"Now, there has been happening quite a lot recently, hasn't it?" The ceo says. "I'm very sorry you went through so many incidents. First all of the stalking and now Kim Youngchul coming so close that he had your phone number and address and was able to contact you."

I don't really know what to say nor where to look. All of this is making me incredibly uncomfortable.

"We do realize that it's our fault that we weren't able to provide you with needed security. As an official apology and for your own mental health we want to give you some time off and this time it'll be more than a few weeks."

I look up in surprise. This sure is not what I expected.

"What about my members?" I ask

"Uhm you see we still have a lot of schedules and-"

I raise my eyebrow

"Well, thinking about it. You and your members all had a rough time. How about I give the guys a few weeks as well so they can rest as well?" An awkward smile appears on his face.

"Sajangnim, that's a great idea. I'm convinced giving them some time off will also result them to be able to work more efficiently afterwards. After all they sure need some time to process everything." Jinsoo happily exclaims.

"There is still one thing bugging me though. Didn't you guys move to another dorm after manager Chanwoo was arrested for providing privat information to sasaengs and Youngchul." Kim Si Dae says lost in thought. "We still have someone who's giving out information."

"About that..." I finally say "I think I know who it is."

Hello y'all I'm so sorry for this shitty ass chapter but I'm feeling super drained. I had a very hard time writing this as I'm not only mentally but also physically exhausted. Please excuse my rushed and uncreative writing and also the tons of errors I probably oversaw. I hope I can regain my energy and motivation for the next few chapter. I promise they'll finally get back to focusing on the members.
