CH18.1 Oh Styx

Hey everyone so sorry I accidentally posted 18.2 when It was incomplete so that was minor spoilers for what is to come. But hopefully I unpublished it correctly. I've been trying my best to write but motivation has been very difficult and I'm trying to get my first job and today's my 17th birthday so a lot of things happening at once.

"YES INDEED!!!"
Everyone had finished belting their hearts out to Zero to Hero and I could swear my ears are about to bleed.

"Is it over yet??" Logan took his hands away from his ears.

" Oh come on necktie. How could you dislike such a classic!"Roman wrapped his arm around Logan's shoulders

Logan's back stiffened at the sudden contact " Roman you have 6.7 seconds to remove your arm from my shoulders before I remove it for you."

Roman only scoffed off the warning.
" oh please calculator watch you couldn't lift a-"

And just like that Roman was up in the air flipped over Logan's shoulder and landed on his back.

"Agh-Did you just judo flip me!?"

Logan only looked down at the princely figure with a sinister smirk.
"Remember Roman I warned you."

That threw Everyone into a fit of laughter.
We were like that all night.

I looked over to Dee who was sitting on the
Out skirts of the blanket.

He looked paler than usual, he was just staring at the top of the arena. I look up trying to see what had him so mesmerized.

I looked up, at first it was just the night sky. Which I could understand with all the stars out the sky looked beautiful. Nothing like the view I'm use to in the city.

I was about to stop looking when a dark figure at the top for the arena. There black cloak blends them with the night sky perfectly

I look back at Dee who had some how become even more paler then I thought was possible.

I look back at the figure but they were gone. Vanished out of thin air.

Dee Slouched and placed his head in his hands. Like he had the wait oh the whole sky on his shoulders

"Dee you OK you look pretty pale." Remus asked looking pretty concerned for his friend.

" i'm fine Rem just a little bit of a headache. I think I'm gonna go to bed." Deceit stood Handing Patton his bowl of popcorn.
"Oh I'll come with you." Remus started to get up.

"NO!" Deceit snapped stoping Remus in his tracks "No... I can get there on my own. Just keep an eye on Elle for me." And just like that he was gone.

"What was that all about."Logan asked looking in between the five of us.

"I have no clue but I'm going to find out." I said standing in place in my bowl of popcorn on the ground. " are you sure that's a wise idea kiddo it looks like he didn't want to be bothered right now."

" I know Pat , but right now it's really not safe for anyone to be going to their cabin alone in the dark I'm just going to make sure he gets there safely." I then started making my way towards the Janus cabin.

~time skip five minutes ~

I finally made my way to the cabins but I still hadn't seen Deceit anywhere. I know I hadn't passed him so where was he.

" what are you doing here death boy."

I turn to see Derik head of the the Ares cabin and some other campers

I take a step back " I don't want to cause any trouble I'm just looking for my friend."

Derik drew his sword and took a few steps closer. "Oh that's it, you just happen to be out and about in the middle of the night looking for someone who isn't here."

I took my pen out of my pocket but left the cap on not wanting to use it unless I had to.
"Look Derik, I don't know what you want me to say I was at the movie just like all the other campers my friend decided to I head back early because he wasn't feeling good and I followed him to make sure he made it to his cabin."

Derik took another step closer now less then a foot away.
"If you're looking for your friend then where is he. My troops and I have been here all night and no one has come through here."

I could feel my eyes widen and my face pale If Dee didn't come back to his cabin then where did he go.

"Look just tell us the truth what are you doing here."Mason from the Iris cabin spoke up. Looking a lot more Kind and was not trying to get into a fight.

"I'm telling you the truth."

Just then there was a loud scream coming from the arena. Derik looked at where the scream came from then back at me.

Then some of the councilors started coming out. I saw Thomas run out and to us . He was in his armor but he had forgot to switch his pants. he was fully prepared for battle except for his pink Steven universe pj's.

As everyone got out we all headed to the arena. I ran beside Derik and Thomas. As we we got closer I could see three things flying in the air at first I thought it was the harpies but as they came into focus I could tell these things were a lot bigger and didn't have any feathers.

"Oh Styx why did it have to be fury's " Derik mumbled as we reached the Arena doors.
