Important Info:
Y/N is an american transfer student who can speak spanish and english. Y/N will use they/them pronouns. Their quirk is called sound. They can reproduce any sound they've ever heard with their vocal cords. And I'll request for you guys to put suggestions in the comments if need be. I don't know exactly when this story will be over, but I'll let you guys know when that time draws nearer. Now, the part I'm honestly most excited about writing; the back story. And since there is a language barrier and I'm not sure how many languages you guys speak, I'll just have it all written in one language with *in (language)* before the dialogue. Hope you enjoy!
Prologue:
*in english*"Y/N, sweetie. Are you excited about going to Japan? And attending UA?" My mother asked me as everyone in my family ate our breakfast for the day.
*in english* "Yes! I can't wait!" I responded with. This interaction happened about a week before I left. During that week, my family tried to get me un-enrolled at my current school. I was focused on packing up all of my stuff. It was stressful because I wanted to end my time at my current school with good grades.
I got recommended into UA from the voice hero Present mic, probably because he saw me using my quirk to help some people out a few months back. I also did some volunteer work at the senior center and helped the seniors there live through the rest of their lives in happiness.
I finish the final box of my things and go down stairs. *in english* "Hey, I'm finally finished packing."
*in english* "Great! Now we can get you moved over there. I just sent an email to the teacher who recommended you telling him we're almost done. He should be the one to meet you at the airport when you land," My mother told me as she closed her laptop. I nodded and grabbed a glass from the cabinet, then filled it with some sweet tea.
*in english* "Yay! I've never met a real pro before, and he's gonna be one of my teachers too! That's exciting! And, I'm excited to meet my classmates too, hopefully they're nice to me. I am transferring after the beginning of the year."
*time skip about 2 days*
When my mom stops the car at the dropoff area, I step out of the passenger seat. I grab my suitcase full of enough clothes for a week along with any personal belongings I couldn't live without. When we all got inside the airport, my mom started crying. I gave her and my dad one last hug. When I went to say bye to my brother, however, I just smirked and lightly punched him in the arm. *in english* "See ya at some point, dork."
To which he replied with a, *in english* "See ya," with a sad tone of voice. I always complain about having a brother, and how annoying he is. But I'm gonna miss him. I give my final hugs and kisses to my family, and walk to my gate. I drag my carry-on behind me and wait to board.
After the half-hour wait, I board the plane and find my seat. I quickly sit down and put my carry-on in the overhead compartment. I pull out my phone, put it on airplane mode and listen to music through my headphones.
*Time skip about 12-13 hours*
After a very long flight, probably the longest flight I've ever been on, I grab my carry-on and take it off the plane. When I get out, I go to the baggage claim and take my silver bag out of the line. I walk around, looking for someone with a sign I could actually read. I look around for a bit until I see a man with shoulder length black hair. He wasn't who I was expecting, but he was holding the sign I could understand. I walk up to him, bringing my bags with me. When I get closer, he flips the sign over to show a message, "Hello, my name is Mr. Aizawa. Present Mic was unable to come today, but I can still communicate with you through a translator."
