After Aizawa and I leave the classroom, we go by the teachers lounge one last time. I smile at all of the teachers as I sit on a nearby couch, not really making much conversation. Aizawa comes back a moment later and motions to the door. He says goodbye to the other teachers and they wave him away.
We got to the house and I was greeted with Present Mic. *in english* "Hello! Did you make it?" He asked as he practically dragged me into the house. I nodded with a smile on my face. Excited about my new life.
*in english* "I did a test of I think stamina, endurance, and strength along with the ability to think on my feet. I didn't know any of my opponents' quirks. It was quite a fun experience." I added on.
Mic brought me in for dinner, which was takoyaki, my favorite. But, he told me I had to get changed into some athletic clothes first.
So, when I finish changing I go to the dinner table. I see everyone sitting, waiting for me to sit down. Shinsou on my right, while Mr. Aizawa and Present Mic are opposite both of us. With dinner in the middle.
*in japanese* "Thank you for the meal..." everyone said in unison, while I was slightly behind them. *in japanese* "Let's eat. Shinsou, how was your day?" Mr. Aizawa started, and Shinsou answered him, but I couldn't understand them.
Present Mic and I just ate in silence. It seemed awkward for him, but it was fine for me. *in english* "What else happened? I heard you made a friend," He tried to start a conversation. It worked.
*in english* "I did make a friend in my class. We both speak spanish, so it's easier to talk to him."
*in english* "That's great! And, I've converted some of the english assignments for 1A into japanese so you can learn some. And I'll help you study, too. So will Shota, and Hitoshi."
So that's his first name. It feels weird using people's last names instead of their first. I think I'm getting the hang of it though.
*in japanese* "Thank you...uh thank you very much..?" I did my best and I'm not 100% sure I said what I meant to say. But I'm glad I got that over with, because I earned applause from everyone. *in english* "What did I say exactly?"
*in english* "You just said 'thank you' in japanese. It's like saying your first words all over again," Present Mic smiled. We all ate dinner in celebration of two things, passing my physical exam to stay in UA and in class 1A; and my first japanese words.
