Mi Amor (Sero x American Reader)

Chapter 4

I walk over to the ring taking a breath in. This fight was going to determine whether or not I stay in the hero course here. I take a deep breath, and watch as the top student steps in the ring first. So this would be a test of strength and stamina? I can do that.

I get into a fighting stance, nice and low. She makes the first move, going for a punch first. I grab her wrist in defense, and push her out of the ring. The next student came in, the one with dual colored hair. He decided to use his quirk and created an ice ring around us. He then sent an ice blast my way, which I was able to barely dodge. I also noticed he hasn't used his other side yet, which was interesting. If I were him I would've used both sides to try and defeat me quicker.

He pauses, then sends a smaller ice blast my way. Is he running out of strength? I try to get closer and sneak up on him. But he notices me and sends a punch my way. I block it and punch him back right in the gut. I can tell he doubled over, but because of the ice ring, he was still in, but he was doubled over. I'd be surprised if he kept fighting.

Mr. Aizawa stopped us and checked on my opponent. He called him the 'loser' and brought him out of the ring. The third student, the boy with glasses, Iida, steps in the ring, after the ice ring is melted to a puddle. He starts stretching, mainly his legs, which makes me notice the engines in his calves. When Mr. Aizawa starts the fight, the first thing he did was run towards me, probably trying to grab me.

I barely dodge, and try to push him out of the way. But, he ran around in a circle on the edge of the ring. He circled back to me and almost got me again. He's actually a little tough. I dodged toward the middle, and kept my eyes on him. He ran in a circle again, repeating the motions. This time, though, I was ready. When he reached for me, I grabbed his wrist and upper-arm, and sent him flying with his own momentum out of the ring. As he landed several feet away from the ring, the next student walked in.

The blond boy from lunch stepped in. He looked pissed, and happy at the same time. He almost looked like a villain for a moment. He tried the traditional approach and threw a right hook aimed at my ribs. I whip my right arm back to block it. I prep and throw a roundhouse kick aimed for his knee. I'm lucky to hit it and send him kneeling on his left knee.

I can tell he wants to attack, but he can't fully stand up. Mr. Aizawa pauses the match and helps the kid out of the ring. The final student steps in and I nod to him, waiting for Mr. Aizawa to come back.

When he comes back, the blond kid is sitting on a bench. He starts our match, then goes to lay down in his yellow sleeping bag. I get into a fighting stance ready for almost anything. I have no idea what his quirk is, so it's best to keep a distance. I see a shadow come from his stomach, and it comes right for me. I jump out of the way, landing into a roll. The shadow thing continues going after me, but retracts when the sun is revealed from behind the clouds.

I stay in the sun, and wait for an attack again. The shadow thing stays close by to the other student, but he comes in for an attack. He pins me to the ground, and almost wins. But I push him off, turning the tables. I push his beak down, and Mr. Aizawa stops the match before things get too out of hand.

When he broke me and my opponent apart, we bowed to each other and walked out of the ring. I brought out my translator and typed, "I'm sorry I hurt you that badly. It was all in good competition. Want my help getting to the nurses office?" When I showed it to the blond kid, who I think is named Bakugou, he just yelled at me, so I took that as a no and walked away.

Author's Note: I really struggle with writing action scenes. I hope this was ok! I knew this was coming eventually and I wanted to do it. I'm just not sure if it's really that good compared to other action scenes. I do take Karate, so I know a few moves. Anyways, love you all and Stay Safe! <3
