Chapter Eight: Frightening First Meeting

I sat in my cell, fiddling with a piece of cold chicken thigh. Holding it made me want to vomit...The door opened, another officer walked in

Officer- you eating?

Me- I can't eat this stuff

Officer- have you even tried

I look at her. I take a bite of the chicken and chew. Instantly my skin started changing green and my veins started popping. My eyes began to burn and my nose began to run. I began to cough. I ended up vomiting up the one bite of chicken and some blood onto her shoes. She looked at me in disgust

Me- that's why I don't eat that stuff

Officer- I see that now..

She got up and left to clean her shoes

Me- that should give me some time

I took the dog whistle from my shoe and held it to my lips. I was hesitant but soon blew it. The dogs barked from another room. My body began to shake. Since I was causing the noise, it wouldn't last very long so I had to use this up quickly. When I fully shifted, I tore the bars and jumped through the wall. The officers arrived just as I had left. I managed to shift back on the roof of a building. I watch police cars drive around. I run across the rooftops, hoping to find someplace safe. Then I stop..a house catches my attention. The Hargreeve Mansion...

Me- Klaus..

I make my way down and run to the building. Cop cars drove around the street, so I had to move fast. The door was unlocked strangely so I opened it and ran inside, I quickly closed the doors behind me. It was quiet.

Me- Klaus!!! Klaus!!! Are you home!!!

A loud bang appeared behind me. A huge man stood behind me, I fell to the ground in fear

Me- have you seen a man named Klaus Hargreeves..?

Man- who's asking?

Me- my names Percy...Percivlle Tristan..

Another man and woman walk into the room. The woman wrote on paper

Woman- Klaus is our brother, how do you know him?

Other Man- are you his boyfriend?

Me- no, just friends. I was with him and his brother named Five a couple days ago

Woman- I recognize you, you were on the news...

Other Man- you attacked the diner Five was at

Me- no I didn't attack! I saved your brother! I killed the gunmen

Woman- what did they say your name was?

Me- Percy?

Man- no, on tv

Me- The Hertz

Other Man- I know you, I help out the police force

I panicked

Me- please don't send me back there...I can't go back!!!

Man- hey hey! Calm down! No ones going anywhere...

The ground shakes. Five runs upstairs

Five- we've got a problem

They all run downstairs, Five calls out to me
