Chapter Thirty: Finally A Peaceful Rest

We made it to Allison's house. I stayed in the car with Ben

Ben- hang in there bud

Me- I need something to eat...

Ben- here

He climbs in the back and holds out a heart

Ben- from that Swedish guy, pulled it before we left

Me- thank you

He feeds me the heart, I gain energy but it wasn't enough

Ben- we'll get you back

Klaus and Allison appear with Diego. Diego picks me up

Diego- it's time to save Vanya

Me- right Vanya..

The two grab Diego before warping into a hospital. When we reached a certain floor, everything began to pulsate. It was painful. We hid behind a table. Klaus knelt above me and held a cloth to my stomach

Klaus- I can't leave him!

Diego- well we need to stop Vanya!

Both the siblings run to stop her but are stopped due to her being too powerful. Klaus looks at me

Me- it's my turn

Klaus- no...

Me- well it's either me or you you big scaredy cat

Klaus- aren't you scared..?

Me- of dying..? Terrified

He cries

Me- hey, at least you can bring me back like you did Ben

Klaus- it won't be the same...

Me- but it'll be something

I wipe his tears away

Me- imagine every single person in the world, no matter the time line, was in one room and I was on a rampage... I would only go for you...you know why?

Klaus- why?

Me- because I would want your heart only

I say with a smile, he chuckles poorly

Klaus- that was cheesy

Me- aww come on, you have to admit that was pretty romantic

Klaus- better than that last one

He kisses me as he sobs

Klaus- i'm so sorry..

Me- for what-

He stands up and runs towards Vanya's door. I stay put as I listen to his body collapse... After a couple seconds a man walked up to me and I instantly recognized who.. For the first time ever I got to see Ben, as he kneels beside me

Me- a hot asain guy, didn't expect that

Ben- oh shush

I laugh with him with the very small amount of energy I had left

Me- go help your sister

I hold my fist out, he bumps it back

Me- see you on the other side buddy

He nods

Ben- rest easy buddy, you earned it

He stands up and walks off. I smile as I close my eyes

Me- man...what a ride
